“Good: bright and sunny.”
Good kitchen and appliances. Nice beach nearby. Bad: THREE out of 4 of the bunk beds weren’t even made up - just comforters (no sheets) thrown on. Outside pix are very deceiving!! The backyard is nice but the property is SURROUNDED by other houses, campers, etc. it’s nice to have washer/dryer but renters should know that it’s 1 unit not 2 because the dryer takes 2+ hours. Had to use the drying rack with fans to dry clothes.

Took my 2 grandsons and the huge fenced off section was perfect for them to play when back from the beach. Beds and rooms were great. Thank you we will definitely stay there again

We did have a nice stay, lots of room for kids to run and inside was tidy. Due to the layout it’s definitely a one small family place. Bathroom is right by the kitchen, we set the smoke alarm off cooking as it was just above the stove top & there’s no extraction. Outdoor furniture was quite dirty and we needed to clean the chairs before use & the bbq wouldn't stay alight. Our preschooler found a half eaten chicken nugget in one of the draws. We couldn’t connect our devices to the wifi but the smart tv was working no problem. I really wanted to love it but for $400+ p/night. I wouldn’t have probably left the above if it was around the $200 p/n mark.

! Modern, great decor. Comfy beds. The only complaint I have was that there were no blinds or curtains across the front doors - no privacy at night. Would book again.

Gorgeous avo sun in Autum and so handy to the beach. Very clean and tidy Bach with everything you need. BBQ was immaculate and outdoor furniture plus heaters a real treat. Extremely comfortable beds. Would highly reccomend and would definitely stay again.

It was a great entertainers set up with awesome outdoor space, BBQ etc. Beds were comfortable and clean. It was great to have coffee pods, wifi and aircon! Had a few issues with the induction stovetop (getting it working) so a manual or one page guide would have saved some time. It would be nice to get trees around the section to provide some privacy from the neighbours while outdoors. Well provisioned in terms of crockery, plates, bowls, knives etc. Close to the beach - you can hear the waves crashing from the bach!

Kept the heat in really well, well into the night. Nice outdoor area for BBQ-ing and dinner and drinks in the evening. Beach within walking distance and nice and quiet - great place to relax.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Karamea is the West Coast's Gateway to the Kaurangi National Park, and the start of the Heaphy track, which is one of New Zealand's Great Walks. There are also a number of shorter walkways, including the Nikau Walk, for a taste of the 82 kilometre Heaphy track, without all the effort! Other popular visitor activities include kayaking, white water rafting, helirafting, trout fishing, and exploring the limestone arches and caves of the Oparara Basin.
