“Great location.”
Really enjoyed being so close to Marine Pde and our favourite fish n chip shop in Napier! Easy to find, with ample parking.Property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Lovely to have nice air con after a sunny day out and about. Thank-you!

Couple of issues concerned us... The bedrooms got extremely hot... to the point we considered going and buying a fan (out of stock unfortunately for us). Dishwasher had not been unloaded. There is a washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes... would have been nice to have an airer to dry clothes on. Main Bedroom - the headboard had come off on one side so the headboard banged against the wall whenever we moved.

However the beds are not that great and and an increase of $435 from 2022 to 2023 for four nights accommodation means we will have to look for something more affordable for the Hospice Trail for 2024.

We loved the location of the apartment and that we could walk into town easily or along the waterfront. Apartment was generally clean and well equipped. Also good value for money :)

Comfy and amazing location. Place needed a more thorough clean as quite dusty & bin not emptied in kitchen. Oven a bit disappointed at as some of elements on stove barely worked - took me half an hour to cook scrambled eggs! Also tap in sink in bathroom leaking so we needed to put a towel near it so water didnât go on floor. Be nice if all the cleaning rags were taken away instead of leaving in laundry too

The settings on the stove top have been rewritten as they had faded and the clean cloths in the laundry are provided for guest use if required. Bachcare

Very clean and tidy. Great location and felt very safe. Just a couple of things it would be good to sort for the next guests: Unfortunately the key lock box didnât work and it took half an hour with bachcare team to find solution. The wifi struggled with 5 people using it and the wifi connection for the tv was non existent therefore we could not use the tv at all. It was very hot and the aircon struggled, I would recommend a fan for the bedrooms to help keep the temp down. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay.

A couple of things-as suggested last year it would be helpful to the cook if the dials on the stove were remarked so they can be read.Also could the property manager please reset the TV settings or leave some simple instructions. Regards Kirsty

The property
Bakers Loft is a stand alone 2 bedroom Napier holiday apartment with Wifi. This centrally located loft apartment near the sea, is private and sunny, with great views to Napier Hill. This family and pet friendly Napier holiday apartment is bright and relaxing with spacious open-plan living and dining... The well equipped kitchen is on hand for your stay. There are 2 bedrooms at this Napier accommodation. Bedroom 1 is fitted with a queen bed - go to sleep listening to the sea and looking at the stars through the skylight in the master bedroom. Bedroom 2 is fitted with a single bed plus a double bunk set. When you feel like exploring, there is plenty to keep you busy in the local area. The beach, National Aquarium, playground, junior bike and pump tracks, picnic and recreation area with free gas BBQs are all just a 5 minute stroll around the corner. Plus, The Water Ride, part of the Hawkes Bay Cycle Trails, is only a 2 minute cycle away! If you are coming to see the cricket or rugby, McLean Park is a 5 minute walk... City shopping, cafes, restaurants and museums are just a 5-10 minute walk up the road! Bakers Loft is set back from the road, with off street parking for two cars. This is a warm and inviting base for your next Napier getaway... Bakers Loft welcomes you!

Please note that the skylight in bedroom 1 has no blinds and that the only window in bedroom 2 is smaller than the average size.

Just five minutes west of the city centre, Marewa was originally part the inner harbour and 'rose' above sea level in the Earthquake. As a result most of the suburb's housing was built in the Art Deco style and forms part of the Deco Tourist Trail. It has its own shopping centre and there are reserve walkways to take a stroll.
