Spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor chairs to sit in and enjoy the outdoors, they were much appreciated. Good charcoal BBQ. Fantastic place to enjoy the beach for a few days, aided by excellent weather. Walking distance to cafe and 4 Square.

We have a bach where guests bring their own linen however we ALWAYS provide a dish cloth and tea towels. A lot of the dishes, pots & knives had to be cleaned before they could be used. Suggest that the cleaner does a better inspection. There needs to be at least 2 more comfortable chairs. It is hard to sit and have a drink looking at the stunning view with 6 people when there is only a couch and a single chair. The dining table needs to be bigger also. There was only 5 of us for dinner and it was VERY crowded. the house can hold 8 people so I would expect the dining table to hold that many as well

The home itself, while a little worn, is clearly well loved, cosy and provides a great home away from home feel. This was our second visit and we canât wait to come back.

We had a magical weekend. Loved being right on the beach. Had tea every morning sitting on the bench in the garden looking out to sea - heavenly! Beach walks, close to great cafes and restaurants and also the local Four Square. Brought our bikes with us and did a 7 min ride to the estuary for a wonderful bike ride on easy, well maintained paths. The house had everything we needed and all very comfortable and clean. Very highly recommended for a special weekend away.

Really awesome property right on the beach and close to local shops. Beautiful outlook onto the dunes and lovely living and out door area. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Really looking forward to staying again.

Located right on beach front and just over the sand dunes for swims and long beach walks. The house itself was so great with large lounge area and open plan kitchen with huge window looking out to Kapiti Island - perfect for watching sunsets. Large outdoor deck off lounge with outdoor furniture was wonderful for Al Fresco dining - we had our Xmas dinner on deck a really special celebration for our family. The beds all really comfortable and having 2 bathrooms a bonus - kitchen really well equipped and great furnishings indoor and outside. Located just short stroll down road to 4 Square supermarket and restaurants. Highly recommend this home - we will be back!

What could be improved? The blinds in the second upstairs bedroom provide no proper blackout for sleeping (they are sun blinds); the downstairs 'bathroom' is a laundry with toilet and shower and would be better described as such; and the TV offered no Freeview as specified but only Apple TV which is not mainstream, and instructions would be useful.

Private, peaceful and spacious. Everything we wanted and we didn't expect musical instruments to be available, not that we used them in our short stay. Exception property that we felt right at home.
