Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Built with family holidays in mind, welcome to Acacia Bay Getaway! This huge holiday home with Wi-Fi is just the ticket for a few families holidaying together. Enjoy views of Lake Taupo from the deck and large windows along the lake-facing front. This holiday home is modern and stylish with open-plan living upstairs flowing out onto the deck. Acacia Bay Getaway has plenty of room for the whole whanau, sleeping up to 12 across 6 bedrooms and 2 levels. There's plenty of room to run and play on the large back and front lawns, as well as a covered BBQ and second outdoor dining area, perfect for a classic Kiwi fry-up! Of course, there is room to park the boat on site, with Te Moenga Bay of Lake Taupo only metres away. This small sandy bay has a boat launch and fishing pier, or simply park up in the sun with a good book. Acacia Bay Getaway has stunning views in a tranquil setting and is just an 8-minute drive to the heart of Taupo for shopping, eateries and adrenaline-packed adventures. About the location
Just a few minutes drive from Taupo Central, Acacia Bay is a great place for a holiday filled with boating, fishing and hiking. Head into town for some shopping and an array of excellent cafes, or drive to see the famous Huka Falls. Another great thing to do is to simply find a good spot and take in the view of Lake Taupo over a picnic or some fish and chips. All of our Acacia Bay holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.

The house is dirty and had mould in nearly every room on windows doors curtains walls skirting boards roofs and aluminum joinery. The grounds are very over grown with weeds everywhere and mountian piles of leaves that needed to be taken care of. (Does not look like the pictures!) The carpet is not safe on the stairs as the carpet tacks are sticking out all along them. The same issue at the breakfast bar along to the kitchen entrance and in the bottom bedroom on the join that the carpet meets the ...

Toilet roll holders were on the ground not attached to the wall. The bbq is rusty and dirty with a near empty gas bottle. Just not usable There was one rubbish bag and a note on the bin not to use it. The house was not at a clean standard. The window's were dirty which ruined the view of the lake and there was cobwebs inside and out everywhere. There was dead insects on the window sills that have been there some time. The location was amazing for where we wanted to be but the lack of cleanliness and hygienic/saftey standards was a 1 out of 10. Extreemly disappointed as we were going to book again for February but I will not be booking this home again! Very disappointed.
