The house is well-equipped and really spacious; accommodating our two families comfortably. Being able to walk to the lake along the walkway was great. We would stay again! Only hiccup was the hot water was turned off. It was hot when we arrived but soon ran out. Quickly reheated when we flicked the switch next to the cylinder.

To avoid water falling on carpet I had to keep 2 buckets. I don’t know what type of hot water supply is there but I’ll always recommend to connect an infinity gas hot water system It really doesn’t matter if we have to pay more but end of the day at least we get a nice warm shower and not a freezing one. Pauline “The house was mostly used for sleeping as we were with family down the road for a birthday weekend.”
However it was comfortable and had everything. The only feedback would be the downstairs was quite cold (not that we ended up using the bedrooms) just the shower and toilet. And it took us a moment to find the outdoor lighting which we needed as it was dark walking back up to the house. Otherwise we would absolutely use this house again and are already making plans too re book.

Great views from the deck and lounge area. Clean and functional and a new full gas bottle for the BBQ to boot. Only issue was that Batchcare and or the property manager never got back to us about our concerns when we arrived at the batch, even though we were promised that they would... We would certainly stay at this venue again.

Everything we needed and more. We were a little apprehensive that the rooms downstairs would be too cold but they were perfect once heaters were turned on. We loved the garage and both levels had plenty of room for our family. This home is beautifully spacious and has plenty enough of room for big families. Kitchen and lounge were perfect for our needs. House was so good that my children asked to go home early after every activity just to spend time inside - that doesn't happen often. Thank you for a beautiful stay. We will be back for sure.

Loved the fire place but it wasn’t enough heating throughout the house as there were only two heaters. The kitchen was nice and big and outside area was beautiful. There was a leak on the downstairs area as the light had fallen off.. but overall well priced and would recommend others to stay here. We’re looking forward to coming again for another holiday.

It was raining all weekend however we didn't mind staying inside as the house was cosy and warm. The home is spacious, clean and has everything you need for your stay away. The kitchen is also well equipped. Highly recommend to large families as there is enough space you wont be in each others faces. We will definitely be back!

We were allowed stay the day of checkout as no one booked it that day. We also got early check in. - Could be extremely hot in summers including night times and opening up the windows will allow mosquitoes and other insects to come in. Lots of spiders on the ceiling and walls in the entire house. Lots of expired used and unused food items in the kitchen, some of it we got rid of with the help of property manager Mike.

We were amazed at how spacious the layout was, a backyard with lemon tree, everything you'd need in a kitchen and a beautiful view of Lake Taupo from the top deck. Highly recommend to large families who want a nice cosy warm stay :)

There was a very pleasant patio and a great barbecue which we very much enjoyed. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery and the facilities were good. However there were a lot of things left by the owner that made it seem very much someone else's home; the fridge and pantry contained all sorts.The rooms had good storage and were comfortable and I think it was good value for money.

The rooms were mostly removed enough to give some privacy as well. The facilities / amenities available were of a good quality and we enjoyed our stay. The fact the kitchen was large enough for multiple people was a bonus. Would definitely return.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

About the location
