Candy “We loved our stay here.”
Well appointed, clean, great family venue. We had the most amazing weekend together as a family. Will definitely book this place again and again. Thank you so much.

Hannah “Comfortable bach, very clean and we met friendly neighbours.”
Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, nice and sunny living area, and enjoyed bbq on deck with lake views. Was a shame that the keys were not left for us, lucky that the french doors were left unlocked. Listing suggested plenty of room for boat, but was tricky to reverse up narrow driveway. We spent some preoccupied time wondering how you could reorganize configuration, bit odd to have fridge right next to cooker, and to have wood burner behind a wall, and door of bathroom opened the wrong way! We would suggest you opening up the living room and turning the bedroom into two small rooms.

Travena “Itâs exactly what it says on the tin.”
Me and my kids just loved it! Itâs nice and tidy. I hope it keeps the same vibes as it reminds me of my childhood memories at my grandparents bach. We are definitely rebooking for next year. Neighbours are really nice also.
- Travena, January 2024Godfrey “This holiday home was nice!”
It accommodated 3 adults and 1 med size dog, I do have to say that the stove and oven needs to be updated the oven is too complicated the 2 PowerPoints on the stove don't go.. but lucky we had family staying not that far from where we were so we were able to cook in there oven and enjoy a big family feast together, also where the key is it does take abit to retrieve them.. but on the whole it was adequate for what we were after, we are use to having a wood burner going therefore absolutely enjoyed snuggling down after a catch up family day out to a lovely fire, thank you.
- Godfrey, June 2023Simon “Werenât given the option for wifi.”
House was generally warm but chilly in mornings. Options other than fireplace.
- Simon, April 2023Bruce “Had to change houses to this one because original choice was uninhabitable.”
Beachcare changed us to this one. Nice quaint little cottage, well equipped, all areas clean and tidy except for lounging area where amount of animal hair was not good, floor and couch. Vacuumed after arrived to make it acceptable. Enjoyed our stay, nice view, and sun pouring in in the mornings.
- Bruce, March 2023Thank you for your review Bruce, we are sorry to hear there were issues with animal hair at our property. We have addressed this with our local team and how to ensure this doesn't happen for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback as we are always working on improving the care of our properties. Bachcare
Karen “We loved staying at the cottage - itâs small but well laid out.”
We especially liked the separation on the shower, toilet and sink. The deck is wonderful, with views across the lake. Itâs very private and only a short walk to the shop. We would definitely stay again.
- Karen, December 2022dave “Great relaxing and recommended”
- dave, February 2022Bryony “The bach was an ideal get away from it all.”
There is only a local store and a take way that you need to pre-order. It was very dog friendly. We would definitely come back!
- Bryony, January 2022Stephen “Good price and location.”
Warm and cozy. Requires a bit of maintenance so if you don't mind the odd squeaky door you will enjoy your stay.
- Stephen, July 2020Lorraine “Great retro bach.”
everything we needed
- Lorraine, October 2019Andrew “Had a great stay, quite a small house but good for a weekend away.”
- Andrew, May 2019Georgina “A lovely, low-key bach, we had a great time staying and exploring the area.”
Our two small children loved the bunk beds, and made the most of running around the big back lawn with our dog. There was easy access to the lake, and not far to the local playground and park. The home is well equipped, and the log fire and big stack of firewood was much appreciated! We would happily stay again.
