“Just loved this place.”
â€ïž Location was brilliant and so close to shops and all other services. The house was beautiful and spacious and modern. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the bbq ( it was filthy), sticky cupboard doors and handles as well as cutlery but that is not the owners problem when people are paying for cleaning . Also feel there is a need for a few more smaller bowls to serve or store food. There was a faulty light switch in kitchen that tripped the house which requires maintenance but overall ...

Easy parking with shops, restaurants and lake front within minutes. Nicely appointed apartment and nice to have some extra space being a ground floor apartment. Whilst we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things we needed to contact Bachcare about and they were impossible to get through to. I would have hated to be say, locked out or something similar, terrible customer service.

A great central location very close to shops and restaurants but also quiet - we were not disturbed at all by noise. We were met at the property by the Bachcare local representative, Vicky, who was very friendly and let us know to call her if we needed anything. She again met us on our departure day to collect the keys - we had no problems at all with the service provided by Bachcare and would definitely book with them again. Similarly if we return to Taupo, Roberts Retreat would be our first choice to stay.

A great relaxing break

The location is absolutely perfect, courtyard is awesome, furnishings are high end. We would stay again IF the plumbing issues were ACTUALLY fixed and if it was facilitated via a service other than Bachcare.

Situated on the edge of Taupo CBD, it was an easy stroll to the lake, shops and restaurants. A two to three minute drive to both major supermarkets. We loved having the use of the apartment complex pool plus a modern BBQ for our own use. Traffic noise could get a little loud later in the evening. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
