Moira “Great location close to town.”
Very quiet & peaceful. We were a bit confused by the instructions for rubbish removal when we were leaving the property. We were unable to locate a “black bin” or any stickers for garbage bags. Very quiet & peaceful. We were a bit confused by the instructions for rubbish removal when we were leaving the property. We were unable to locate a “black bin” or any stickers for garbage bags. We found a recycling bin out near the road, so we used that for our recycling. Also, apparently, we were only able to put rubbish out on a Tuesday or take it with us. We found this highly unusual as we have stayed in short-term rental housing in other parts of NZ without having to do this (happy to remove the rubbish from the house to an outside bin). Maybe it’s a Taupo thing. Anyway, we had a great stay, just wanted to give feedback so it’s clearer for others.
Thanks for your feedback, we’re glad you enjoyed the peaceful location and being close to town. We appreciate you flagging the confusion around the rubbish instructions. We’ve passed this on to our team to review and clarify the information for future guests. Thanks again for your helpful comments. We hope to welcome you back to Taupō or another Bachcare property soon. Bachcare
