Stayed May 2020

A lovely private cottage on a quiet road, walking distance to the river and walking tracks- and the cafe! Very comfortable, well-presented, and well-equipped house with comfortable beds and two bathrooms - good shower. Extremely clean. Plentiful supply of firewood and nice sunny deck at the back. We would stay here again!

Stayed August 2019

This is a lovely comfortable cottage, very well set up and in a great position not far from the river or town.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. It was clean, the fire was prepped for us to light and we felt welcomed by Bertina the property manager.

The Bach in Taupahi Road is very well equipped and cosy. Having electric blankets and good heating in all the rooms is a great touch. As an angler I found it ideally located, a short walk to the tackle shop and river.

Stayed June 2018

We had a lovely stay at our bachcare property in Turangi. The house was very tidy and well equipped for our 2 night stay, which made it feel homily and welcoming. The property was well kept inside and out and had a warm vibe to it so it was fairly easy for us to adapt into the new environment. Our property manager wasn't available to meet us on our departure but had excellent correspondence throughout our stay so we weren't bothered by her absence and we were still able to contact her for help at anytime, which was great - although we didn't need to. We would've loved to have stayed for another night - to make the most of our little holiday -but the house was already booked for the night, so will definitely be staying here again if we come back to the area and look forward to having a similar experience here again.
