“Lovely large space and fenced garden perfect for our dog and toddler.”
The house is fine but a bit worn with very limited and random kitchen items- e.g. no coffee plunger or any other way to make coffee, and one set of very blunt knives. Just around the corner from botanic garden reserve which is a nice walk.

However after discovering a leak and reporting it to Bachcare our stay became stressful. There was ample opportunity to fix this relatively small plumbing issue. We left the property two days after reporting it after having at least three phone calls with different operators at Bachcare. . Nothing was done other than telling us that they would be turning the water off and we should vacate the property at 3pm the day before we were supposed to leave. My email to them has been ignored, no reply nearly 1 week has passed. Based on my life experience working as a tradie and property manager I believe this small leak could have been fixed pretty easily and we could have finished our stay without having to live with it for two days. A wet ceiling, timber, gib, carpet and compromised future bookings could have been avoided if this leak had been fixed straight away.

Super comfortable beds, separate lounge for kids tv, beautiful neighbourhood close to everything and fantastic backyard for our labradors (it backs on to a reserve perfect for doggy walks and walking distance to the botanical gardens). De Bretts hot pools 2 mins down the rd topped off the holiday. The full package! Will definately be back, thank you for your hospitality.

Dog is able to be part of family and has access to wonderful reserve just behind house. Beds and shower amazing. Only downside this time was there was no basic cloths/scrubbing brush for cleaning dishes and kitchen and cleaning spray running very low. Would have been nice to have some basic food items eg salt/pepper available. Would stay again for sure!

The weather was on our side and the wonderful outside area suited us beautifully for nibbles and a few drinks. The dog loved the fact she was able to wander in and out when she felt like it and adored the big field next door. Thank you so much for having this lovely property available. We will be back.

Outdoor area was great…… house was nice and open, very spacious allowing great socialisation. Beds were very comfortable. Only very small negative was the upstairs balcony, birds had covered it in poop, so unable to use this area. Apart from that the place was great.

Made very easy with this house. Great fire, house is beautiful. Our dog was happy at the back section and park to play. Location is prefect to walk back to the lake and we found Waipahihi Botanical Park too. We would love to return.

So good being able to have our dog stay with us there too. The property has a lovely back yard, and a great deck with outdoor furniture. Inside it’s spacious and modern, with nice facilities. We stayed for 3 nights, and highly recommend it.

Close to restaurants and activities. Wonderfully cozy on cold winter nights. Heaps of room for children and dogs to play, with a reserve behind the back fence and big fully fenced back yard. We all had a wonderful time, the kid and dogs didn't want to leave
