“The location and view were great but the property has clearly not been maintained in the years since the photos on the listing were taken.”
The house has multiple areas in need of repair with holes and rotting wood, the backyard is overgrown and there is no grass area available to use, there is also broken furniture. You also should take reef shoes if you are wanting to get in the water as the access area is covered in mussels/oysters and be prepared for a steep walk down to the water, not somewhere you can easily swim from.

Zoe “Much better than anticipated!”
Clean and homey bach with games and movies available. (we brought our own as well) The beds are ok but as good as can be expected at a bach. The view was amazing we had ok weather the wind was crazy, but still went fishing down on the beach area and enjoyed the stay. There is 4g so you can access internet on phone if needed overall really nice !

Such a peaceful spot with lots of bird life around the holiday home. We caught some snapper from the beach which we cooked up. Great outdoor space to read and lounge around on. We managed to find the channel to watch the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup which was an added bonus. Yes, the place looks a little tired and possibly needs some time to spruce it up however it was great for the soul and good to just get away. Bit of a steep walk back up from the beach but got easier over time.

The view is stunning and itâs a very tranquil property. It was nice that the wood fire was set when we arrived. The local property manager was helpful when we couldnât get the tv to work. Since the photos were taken for the website, the vegetation has been allowed to grow and is now starting to obscure the view slightly. Unless the garden is maintained the view will be lost considerably in coming years, which is such a shame. The house is also very tired and unloved. The minute you walk in there is a musty smell. The upstairs bathroom is very dated and uninviting, so we decided to use the downstairs one which is also the laundry. The lights in the bathroom/laundry didnât work nor did the only single power point. Therefore we couldnât use an electric toothbrush or hairdryer. Some of the other lights in the house didnât work either. The carpets hadnât been vacuumed and there were cobwebs and dust around the house. In the large main bedroom there was nowhere to hang clothes. The lounge was stained and uncomfortable. Also bear in mind the tv is very sketchy with only one channel that we could get, which Iâm not surprised about due to its location and a DVD player is provided, but no DVDs. Also be aware there is no Wi-Fi . All in all I was very disappointed with our stay, especially as itâs not cheap. As mentioned the view is amazing but the property is desperately in need of some TLC to bring it back to what Iâm sure was a beautiful home a few years ago.

For those who like a bit of exercise there is a walkway with 3 - 4 hr return tramp up the hill directly opposite the driveway with views that are worth the sweat. Something for everyone.

The house was comfortable enough but didn't quite meet our expectations given the high price. Overall we had a great holiday.

Bach itself a little disappointing. Much older than pictures portrayed. Main beds very saggy and uncomfortable. Kayaks looked great but actually very heavy to lift down steep slippery path and incredibly difficult to steer compared to other kayaks. Lack of WIFI in current climate of potential Covid lockdowns also an issue. Overall would have expected more for the money.

We would recommend having two people carry these down to the water. Nice and warm. Great outdoor area. Some more detailed directions on how to find the house from the road would have been useful (but found it eventually). Thank you very much for having us.

Families with children are well catered for with toys and playground equipment. Generally the property had the essentials but didn't include an iron or board, dishwasher and no WiFi. There is service available but not via WiFi. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing from every room but there were a few things that bought my rating down to about a 3 out of 5. It's not luxurious but if the views are the most important thing for you, then you will get them with this property.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Please be aware that the shared driveway at the side of the house is steep. All cars must be parked either in the garage or at the side of the garage, to avoid blocking the driveway.
There are life-jackets available to use with the 2 twin kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.
As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
