Sno Ruapehu is a magical place. The coziness of the house, the wide open space outside for kids to run freely, the view of the mountain from just about everywhere on the property, all combined to make our stay a truly memorable one. It was our first visit to Mt Ruapehu, and Sno Ruapehu is one of the main reasons why this weekend will never be forgotten.

Absolutely stunning view and loved the quiet location. House had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again

The property was as described. A house in the middle of nowhere - the GPS took us to the train tracks - but we managed to find it. It was comfortable, cosy and warm. The kids really enjoyed the toys and just having so much space to run around. Beautiful views of the mountain. We couldn't ask for more! Thank you!

Great house, warm during the day and stayed warm overnight without the need of heaters in Summer. Also enjoyed the touch of kids toys!

Great little house! Fire place kept us toasty warm, but the house was warm without it too. The view of the mountain was amazing (when the cloud cleared), and the kids loved watching the train go past too. It doesn't take long for the hum of the train to become unnoticeable. Beds are comfy. Little rotating lights at each bunk is innovative. Kitchen had everything we needed. Decor is lovely. Same distance to both Whakapapa and Turoa - perfect! New World 10 mins away in Ohakune or 4square at National Park in the other direction. No washing machine gave us a surprise (my oversight), and tv and WiFi yet to be set up as mentioned. Loved our stay!
Yes, this is a great modern take on a traditional ski hut. It was just built in 2019, so new features will be added over time.

We had a pleasant stay, especially enjoying the beautiful view. However the property is very new and not quite fully functional. A little TLC and it could be a gem.
Yes, this property is brand new modern cottage and has all new appliances as advertised. We are sure the owner will add more 'personality' over time.

We had a wonderful time at Sno Ruapehu. The House is clean, stylish, warm and functional. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and happy during our stay. Karyn and Ken are great hosts and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be booking this place again!

We had a great stay at this little slice of paradise. Amazing house, so well designed that its compact but doesn’t feel small. Really nice and clean, private and the manager was really helpful. Lots of activities around the area. Would definitely recommend!
