AldenStayed August 2020
The place was easy to find, clean, great showers, the woodburner , gas heater and through wall heat transfer unit made our stay comfy and i can see they have spent money on insulation and double glazing. I would stay again. Quiet as well.

Plenty of space and two bathrooms is good. Rack over fireplace was effective for drying ski gear. Place a little tired (could do with new sofas etc), but overall met our needs for place to stay while skiing.
Happy to hear you enjoyed your ski trip in this traditional Mt Ruapehu ski cottage.

Comfortable basic, typically kiwi bach. Close to all national park amenities and close to the mountain. If you after luxury this is not for you, but the beds are comfortable, it’s clean and had everything we needed including a roaring woodburner fire.
