Great house, everything we needed was there. Good little walk to town and it was lovely and quiet when we were there, no one was around. Spa was great at the end of the day and we are very thankful to the owners to allow us to bring our fur child with us.

The house is gorgeous, loved it. Not only was the property perfectly set up for a gorgeous stay, the owners were very kindly flexible when we needed to change our dates at the last minute due to very sick children, and we appreciated this hugely.

Beautiful house, loved the hot tub and it always so great we could bring dogs! Fully fenced garden and amazing walks just behind the house. Can’t fault it! We’ll be back!

This house is great. It’s a perfect size for 3-5 people. It might be a bit small if there were more and you got stuck inside due to bad weather. The living area is well appointed with super comfy sofas and a nice big table and there’s loads of good kitchen stuff. (There isn’t a lot of room for storing your own food). It’s in a quiet, new development but far enough from the road that you can’t hear the trucks (as long as the windows are closed). The location is excellent - an 8 minute walk into Ohakune. The spa pool is a great feature, especially on cold winter nights. Really warmed us up. We stayed after lockdown and it was -6 degrees the first morning. I don’t think the place had been used and it was really cold. It took all three days with the heat pump on full to start to warm up. If you are going in winter, check with the managers about heating/duvets as there is no heating in the bedrooms and they were really cold. We only had 4 people so could double up on duvets but there were no spare blankets. I’d recommend bringing your own hot water bottles and slippers (cold floors at first and cold deck running back in from the the spa - so slippers still good for that even if the house is warm). They have said they will try and get extra heating/blankets in the back so once this is done, you can ignore this comment. And having said this, I’d still rate the house 5 stars as it’s easily fixable and everything else was great.

We loved staying in this House, it's well set up and very warm and cosy. Love the décor and it's perfect for a family. The spa is a real bonus after a hard day of skiing on the Mountain. We would love to come back and stay and i highly recommend this house to others, but please don't book it in the School Holidays when we want it!!!. :)
