    “Perfect place to stay for our group.”

    very thankful for all of the heating options available especially the fireplace which surrounds such a cozy and communal lounge area. The place was very charming in a number of aspects from waking up and seeing the mountain to walking outside and seeing sheep all around. The only complaint I have would have would be that there was no lock on the shower room however overall the place was perfect for us and we would definitely stay again.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Sleeping up to 8 guests with a maximum of 6 adults in three bedrooms ensures there is room enough for the whole family to spread out. Then all come together in to share a meal and a glass of wine in the large dining area or snuggle up in front of the fireplace - creating an ideal getaway for recharging the batteries. You'll love the location and its surroundings, feeling away from all the hustle and bustle yet only a 5-minute drive away from Ohakune. If you're planning something a bit different this trip, try your hand at a horse trek with Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks located just around the corner. Take your pick from the local cafe's and bars or local shops. Mountain Road, leading to Turoa skifield, is a 5-minute drive away as well so this makes for a great base for any keen snow bunnies! If you could do with some peace and quiet this holiday then Kaha Cottage is the spot!

Perfectly based to jet off to the Bridge to Nowhere, the Tongariro Crossing or one of the many stunning alpine walks or mountain bike trails, it's a true haven for your next adventure.
