“The bach was nice and warm, plenty of wood for the fireplace.”
Close to the carrot park and the main town. Internet was a bit of a let down. Connection wasn't stable during our stay. Wi-Fi coverage was also bad with the router at one end of the room, so the bedrooms on the other side of the bach had next to zero bars.

Comfortable and so very warm. We werenât ât expecting that given it being in Ohakune. House had everything we needed and more. We had a great couple of days to enjoy the Glenbrook Steam Train. Thanks to the owners, Bachcare and Ohakune.

Everything was clean, warm and comfortable. Bachcare were fast to get back to us when we realized we had not included linen in our stay so we didn't have any when we turned up. They turned up pretty quickly with a bag of linen after we paid the additional. Not sure how we missed that.

The size of the house is generous and could easily accomodate 2 families. Large living area provided space for everyone to stretch out and relax. Great location as well.

Very warm with the fire. Kitchen well stocked and the flow of the house works well. We had quite a few in our group and we rented another house close by but we met up together in this one. Was perfect. The chairs and sofa in the lounge were so comfortable, this is not always the case in rented holiday accommodation, but is perfect here. Having sky available was wonderful esp with the Olympics on. So good to have a TV system that is simple and user friendly. We sat outside one morning to have coffee's as it was so lovely and sunny and sheltered. One small thing to note, when we stayed, there was no kindling or fire starters for the fire, so maybe pack some of those or buy them at the supermarket in Ohakune before you get to the house, because if you don't have them, the fire is really difficult to get going.

Warm, clean and comfortable for two families. Enjoyed soaking up the afternoon sunshine on the deck, while the kids played at the neighboring park. Would definitely stay again.
