Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Park Avenue – Secluded, Spacious & Family-Friendly Ohakune Escape Welcome to Park Avenue, a private three-level, four-bedroom Ohakune holiday home, ideal for families or larger groups seeking a peaceful, spacious retreat close to the action. Tucked away in a quiet setting, it’s just a short 15–20 minute walk to town and minutes from the Junction and nearby bike tracks, offering the perfect base for year-round mountain adventures. Designed for comfort and flexibility, the home suits multiple families or groups with a range of sleeping options and separate living zones. On the main level, enjoy an open-plan living and dining area with access to wraparound decking, a tidy kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso machine, plus a laundry area leading into a large hot water cupboard with drying racks. This level also includes two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two singles, alongside a main bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs features a spacious third bedroom with a double bed and two double bunk sets, plus a mezzanine lounge with its own Smart TV, perfect for kids. The lower level includes a private fourth bedroom with a double bed and single bunk set, as well as its own ensuite. A drying room is located in the internal-access garage, ideal for storing wet gear after a day on the slopes. Additional amenities include WiFi, Smart TVs, heat pump, and ample off-street parking. Recent updates include the removal of ponds and the addition of fencing for enhanced privacy and safety. About the location
Ohakune is the ski capital for the North Island and your gateway to all the iconic features of the Ruapehu region. Perfectly based to jet off to the Bridge to Nowhere, the Tongariro Crossing or one of the many stunning alpine walks or mountain bike trails, it's a true haven for your next adventure. It's well worth the four and a half hour drive from Auckland or 90 minutes from Taupo in Winter or Summer! And more than happy with our experience. I just wanted to let you know a couple of things we found on arrival. The BBQ has not been cleaned for sometime (it was starting to go mouldy). The rear two elements on the stove also had issues, one barely warms up and the other goes on full or not at all. It was very lovely coming into a warm house however, so please pass on our thanks to the person who left the heatpump on for us that was very thoughtful. Kind regards Richard Hopkins
