    “Hi Bachcare team The property was exactly what we needed.”

    And more than happy with our experience. I just wanted to let you know a couple of things we found on arrival. The BBQ has not been cleaned for sometime (it was starting to go mouldy). The rear two elements on the stove also had issues, one barely warms up and the other goes on full or not at all. It was very lovely coming into a warm house however, so please pass on our thanks to the person who left the heatpump on for us that was very thoughtful. Kind regards Richard Hopkins

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Park Avenue is a 3 level, 4 bedroom Ohakune holiday home with ample sleeping combinations. This cosy Ohakune accommodation makes a great base for extended family groups to enjoy a mountain escape! This Ohakune holiday home includes decking on 3 sides for warmer weather, a drying room for ski stays, and a heat pump to keep you comfortable all year round. As you enter onto the main level, the laundry area takes you straight through to the open-plan living and dining room with deck access through glass sliding doors. Enjoy the peaceful views with mature trees surrounding the home, and an outlook to a small pond. The tidy kitchen is tucked away to your left off the dining area and includes a dishwasher. Located off the living area on the main floor are 2 bedrooms, 1 fitted with a double bed, and another with 2 single beds. A set of stairs in the living/dining room take you up to a bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single bunk sets. This top level also has a mezzanine living area which makes a great spot for the kids to watch their own TV and Free to View! A second set of stairs from the main living area take you down to the lower level bedroom. This room is fitted with a double bed and 1 single bunk set. The lower bedroom includes an ensuite. There is 1 main bathroom with separate toilet on the main level, and you will find the drying room down in the garage. The large garage is a great space for storing ski gear during your stay. There is also a generous hot water cupboard kitted out for hanging your jackets on the main level, located in the laundry area. With a safe and spacious off-road area for parking offering direct access to the garage, unloading your wet ski gear into the drying room is super easy! This Ohakune holiday home is a great option for larger groups wanting to spend time away together... Relax and stay at Park Avenue!

As the property has unfenced access to a pond in the reserve, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
