Property is very warm, but lacked any cooling devices (fans, etc) so not ideal for a summer stay but can imagine it'll be great during the ski season. It's not in Ohakune but very close to it in a very quite village. Very peaceful stay minus the hot house in the middle of summer. Would recommend staying here during the winter only.

Amazing to stay in such a warm place so close to the mountain! I was super impressed with the straw bale insulation!! Great size and layout for an extended group.

Great place to stay with plenty of room for the four of us. Can accomadate two families easily with the two separate toilets and two separate shower room. Great laundry/mud room. Very close to Ohwakune, less than ten minutes if the rail road is taken.

One of the best places I have stayed. Outstrips other motels, hotels and other book-a-bach's. Would recommend this to everyone.

My wife, kids and I loved it, was a huge place for 4 people, has a fireplace which we didn't need to use as it was very warm inside, would love to visit in winter time when its snowing!
