“We had to cancel our booking as the work event we were attending had been cancelled.”
This was beyond our control. Bachcare would not refund the payment. They also kept sending us messages reminding us about our upcoming stay, thanking us for our payment, and asking us to rate our stay. Not impressed.

Nice and spacious. Loved the Spa bath great for the kids although a bit strange it’s in a bedroom. Would be great if you get the pin ball machine working!

It is spacious and tidy. An amazing view directly opposite parks and ocean. Walking distance to shops and options for dinner. We had an issue with the lock but after a couple of phone calls a locksmith was called and arrived promptly. The towel rail in the upstairs bathroom is quite loose. Definitely recommend this property

- a very simple and low cost improvement in comfort. One 'bedroom' has no power point at all, meaning those in that room cannot even charge their mobile overnight. The Bach did not meet the level of comfort/equipment we have previously had with other bachcare properties. The washing line is very dirty and unsuitable for use. Having said all that, we'd stay there again. The location is perfect and we had a very relaxed holiday.

The garage was super handy and the location was perfect for our whānau to watch our event. Was easy to entertain friends as they popped in and out throughout our 5 day stay. It could do with a few more utensils in the kitchen as we did most of our cooking rather than eating out. Thank you and we would definitely stay again.

The Place was big, and accommodated us well , and location Great. It seems a little tired, with carpet looking worn, and cracked tiles etc... . Strange no Netflix or Sky... To be honest, it wasn't bad, BUT the pigeons in the back area... Woke us up every morning at 6 Sharp... they need to go....

Very comfortable, so handy. We would have appreciated a Chromecast so we could stream SkyGo for rugby! Spent a lot of time tossing up ideas of why ground floor is as it is!!!! Love to know why a bed in a bathroom and original use of front room! Thanks so much for sharing! Yes you can share but delete my nosey question!!!!!

Plenty of space for our family of 5 and could comfortably accommodate a larger group without being on top of one another. The front deck, at first floor level, catches morning sun and provides spectacular views our across the Parade - a beautiful spot to relax in the morning and catch a glimpse of all that is going on.

The property is in a great position within walking distance of town and right on Marine Parade. The beds are comfortable and the lounge, dining and kitchen of a good size. The kitchen is well equipped. The balcony is lovely to sit out on with a great view up and down Marine Parade. Hoping we will be able to book again next year.

Great for a large family or group as there is heaps of space, including a lovely deck with a great view of the sea. Jon gave us lots of ideas for things to do and places to eat, and the house is only a 10-15 min walk into town. If you want to BBQ at home though you'll have to go across the road to use the free BBQs which could be better. The house also wasn't particularly clean when we arrived, but this could be because we were early in the season.

The property
Marine Haven is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Napier holiday home with stunning sea views! This centrally located, modern holiday home is an excellent base for your next Napier escape! This 2 storey Napier holiday home includes open plan living upstairs that flows onto decking... set yourself up in the sun, watch the world go by, and enjoy the sea views. There is 1 bedroom upstairs at this Napier accommodation fitted with a queen bed. Downstairs, bedrooms 2 and 3 also have a queen bed each. Plus, a single bed in an alcove off the lounge is on hand should it be required. There is an ensuite bathroom upstairs, plus a bathroom downstairs at Marine Haven. For days outdoors, you can enjoy the The Aquarium and a recreational area right across the road. This area includes a shaded BBQ area, a cycle park, and a water garden. Plus, the Hawkes Bay Cycle Trail is right across the road! For other amenities, the CBD is a 5 minute walk away making this an ideal base for the Wine Trail and Art Deco Festival! Marine Haven in Napier welcomes you!

About the location
Just five minutes west of the city centre, Marewa was originally part the inner harbour and 'rose' above sea level in the Earthquake. As a result most of the suburb's housing was built in the Art Deco style and forms part of the Deco Tourist Trail. It has its own shopping centre and there are reserve walkways to take a stroll.
