Helen “The acid test for us is ‘would you stay again?”
’, and yes we would. Lovely location, very clean, simple and straightforward booking and organisation of our stay. We would highly recommend this location and the company. We had a brilliant time.

Carey “A wonderful spot with amazing views and a well-appointed bach.”
- Carey, September 2023Barney “House was awesome after walking the Able Tasman.”
Had to push the single beds together which was fine but would be useful to have king-size linen available for this. We couldn't find the washing machine powder but we bought some and left it there. Views where wonderful. Access to kaiteriteri beach worked well. Would stay again.
- Barney, March 2023Jan “Great location.”
Clean and well equipped. We would recommend owners attend to street numbering (relocate to eye level when sitting in car) trim shrubbery so this is not obscured and include notes re shared access with neighbours driveway, in the entry instructions. That they also arrange for pillow protectors to be on all pillows in bedrooms and these are checked to ensure they are clean and replaced between tenants. When we arrived these were stained and had human hair on them. Presumably had been used without pillowcases by a number of people. Both items easy to resolve.
- Jan, May 2022Scott “A little bit disconnected from the main beach but totally outweighed by view, quality, ambience and feel of the house.”
Highly recommend
- Scott, November 2021Emma “We really enjoyed our stay - the house has wonderful views and that window seat is heaven!”
Easy trot into town and great facilities at the house - it was well equipped. We would stay again.
- Emma, October 2021Adri “Lovely house with spectacular views!”
Listening and seeing the Tui's was our favourite! The climb up and down the hill was a good workout, but would be impossible in the wet. All in all we had a fantastic stay!
- Adri, October 2021Marianne “A great place to stay - fantastic view and very comfortable”
- Marianne, January 2021Robert “A great pla;Ce for a couple or a small family the only thing not be aware of is the steep drive and no lawn area if there are young children.”
The property is surrounded with decks so you can catch all aspects of the sun. A lovely peaceful setting.
- Robert, December 2020Thomas “Wonderful location in a protected spot on the ridge above Kaiteriteri, with superb views over the bay, water, and estuary, and easy access to the local's walking track down through the campground to the beach.”
The house is extremely comfortable, and well laid out with open-plan living on the top floor, and several outdoor seating areas for all times of day and weather. Two decent sized bedrooms are downstairs, and feel quiet and secluded; one has an private deck for mornings, and both open onto native bush. A great place to stay.
- Thomas, December 2020Lawrence “A marvelous place to feel stress free and enjoy what there are to offer away from the public eye.”
- Lawrence, October 2020Glenn “Great house in a magnificent setting, with a fabulous view”
- Glenn, July 2020Catherine “Beautiful home in a great location with an awesome view!”
- Catherine, March 2020Julie “House is entirely as pictured, perhaps even better.”
Everything is fairly new and in good nick, and the porch view is lovely at different times of day. Good location: very short (if a bit narrow) drive down to Kaiteriteri boats, not much farther to Marahau. Or you can walk down the bush path, which is quite lovely for a morning walk to boats or coffee. No wifi as of our stay, and a bit hard to find in the dark first time, but overall a great stay for the park.
- Julie, March 2020WF “Great view of Kaiteriteri!”
The home was perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the views from the lounge, kitchen, and deck were fantastic. The kitchen was fully equipped.
- WF, October 2019Penni “This property was wonderful with everything available needed for a relaxing stay.”
The view is amazing and it’s only a quick walk down to the beach. Would love to visit again if we come back to the area.
- Penni, May 2019Dawn “This property is modern, bright, clean and well positioned.”
It’s a home from home, providing a relaxed, enjoyable holiday experience. The house in on three levels, with three decks, modern kitchen, open plan living, laundry, 2 bathrooms, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room. Ample private drive and outdoor bbq. This property offers excellent value for money in a beautiful setting.
- Dawn, March 2019Tony “Nice views but nothing flash.”
At the top of a hill so be prepared to give the legs a good workout going to the beach if you don't have a car.
- Tony, February 2019Hi Tony, we're glad you liked the view! It's true, the hill is a real workout if you're walking back - but we hope you agree the view is worth it. Bachcare
Patrick “Beautiful house with a fantastic view.”
Well designed home. Great for two couples.
- Patrick, December 2018Janet “This is a lovely house.”
..fabulous views of Tasman bay...and great base for exploring Abel Tasman Park....
- Janet, October 2018Alice “This house is better than it looks in the photos.”
Amazing view and beautiful location in the bush. A 10 minute walk down a bush track leads you to the campsite & beach. There was room on the street to park our 6-metre boat but we had to keep it attached to our vehicle as it's on a slight slope. This meant we had to carry our gear up the driveway to the house (about 50 metres up a hill) as we couldn't use our vehicle to access the house. No problem for us though as we didn't have too much gear.
- Alice, October 2018Hi Alice, thank you for the wonderful feedback on the house! Unfortunately there is no private boat parking at this property, I am sure your feedback will be useful for future guests who also find themselves in a similar situation. Bachcare

Korora, named for the Little Blue penguins that are local to the region, is an architecturally-designed "treehouse" nestled in and above the native bush. Marvel at stunning views of the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach and bay, the Richmond Range, Kina Cliffs and Tasman Bay. Korora has unbeatable location, with stunning beaches at Kaiteriteri and Breakers Bay a scenic 10-15 minute walk down through native bush via a well-worn track that brings you out to the Kaiteriteri waterfront and beach. Korora is wrapped with two covered and one uncovered decks, with stunning views and seamless indoor-outdoor flow for summer months! Enjoy the peaceful serenity at Korora, while still being less than a 5-minute drive from the local store, cafes and bars! The keen fisherman can catch brown trout from the nearby Riwaka and Motueka rivers, and even bring them back to cook on the BBQ for dinner! Round off your stay at Korora by visiting the spectacular limestone caves on the Takaka Hill, and of course a famous Golden Bay vineyard!
Please note that there is a ripple control hot water system at this property.
Korora shares a driveway with Kaiteri House which can be found by searching 'Kaiteri House'.
Competent reversing and towing skills are required at this property, as the driveway is steep and fairly tight.
