    “The price point is too high for this property, given the following issues: - Deck should be repaired or not in pictures.”

    - All beds should be made for guests, even if there are fewer guests than might need 4 beds. Then they can choose which bed they want without having to make it. - Firewood should be made available. - Dish towels should be made available. - More bath towels should be available - 2 per person is fine but 1 is too little. - A plan for composting would be lovely, especially with a list of things than can go to the chickens. - This property clearly has been loved and enjoyed good family ...

    Hi. Thank you for the feedback. Most of the linen/towels etc are provided directly by bachcare and not the property so I will pass on the feedback. I believe only the number of beds made up reflects the guest numbers booked to avoid the possibility of more guests staying than have been booked. Noted re garden deck. This is planned for redecking in February. Currently the house is only rented out for Xmas through to end of January so firewood isn’t normally needed. Thanks for staying and hope to see you again. Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Perfect for a secluded retreat, this spacious house enjoys ample indoor/outdoor living space just minutes from the waterfront, and 800m away from the start of the Abel Tasman Walking track and the Park Cafe! This 2 storey Marahau holiday home includes relaxed open plan living upstairs, with a wood-burning fireplace for toasty winter ambience. For summer living at its finest, relax on the deck, soak up the sun, and admire the tranquil garden scenery! The BBQ adds a lovely touch for dining al fresco with friends and family. Downstairs at this Marahau accommodation, bedrooms 1 and 2 each have a queen bed. Upstairs bedrooms 4 and 5 also have a queen bed each. To complete your spacious holiday set up, there are 2 bathrooms downstairs, plus a third situated upstairs. You will feel worlds away at this character haven - get lost among the gardens and enjoy doing nothing at all, or head down to the water for days of activities. The Sprig N Fern licensed cafe is a great option for dining out, or visit the beach, waterfront, and boat ramp. There are lots of adventure activities to enjoy including, kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, kite surfing, or catching a water taxi to one of the many parts of the Abel Tasman National Park walking tracks. Plus, you are approximately 20 minutes from Motueka, and wineries are around a half hour drive away. Come and experience some Marahau magic at Tasman Hideaway!

As there is an unfenced pond on the property, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water
