If you are looking for a rough and ready bach then you have found the right place. I wouldn't call this your typical home. The hosts were great and communicated well with us. We just think it is way over priced for what we got.
Thank you for your review Zoe. Hidden Cove Gem does have a classic kiwi bach feel. We are sorry to hear you felt it was overpriced, we do try our best to fairly price our properties taking into consideration their amenities, location and the other properties in the area.

Quintessential kiwi Bach with beaut new bbq, lovely deck and with the best outdoor sofa. - u can listen to the waves after a swim and enjoy the view. Good power shower and spotlessly clean.

This is a horrendously overpriced bach. If you are looking for a quintessential bach experience it’s here, but don’t go in peak season when the owners hike their rates. It looks like it has direct access to the beach but is hemmed in a not private. Houses on all sides and directly in front. Very disappointed. Worst of all accomodation we had over 4 weeks break.
Thank you for your feedback Shirley-Anne and we are sorry to hear you found the property over-priced. While this is a classic Kiwi Bach, we do try our best to fairly price our properties taking into consideration their amenities, location and the other properties in the area. In the listing photos we also show the surroundings of the property so that you can see the houses near it. We do hope you enjoyed your time in Langs Beach!

We absolutely loved this wee gem of a Bach. A perfect couples retreat! A lovely outside area and so close the the beach. We will be back!

Great little bach with easy access to the beach. Will definitely book again for an escape to Langs Beach.

With one of the bedrooms having no door at all and the toilet not having a lock as well, "privacy" means nothing at this place. We were two couples and had to decide who's sleeping with their partner in the room without a door facing the lounge area. We also left a bag in front of the bathroom to indicate someone is inside. Therefore, you need to leave your "dignity" behind when you get here! Other than that, old rusty barbeque with the lights for that area not working (we barbequed at night with our cellphone's flashlight), shower drainage was blocked so we could only take 2-5mins showers. You can just imagine what kind oof traumatising experience we had with all these. Location was good with a decent view but well overpriced for a property of its age most especially with the issues above.
Thanks for your feedback Sean and bringing these issues to our attention. We have now updated listing to make it clearer that one of the bedrooms does not have a door and there is now a lock on the bathroom/toilet door. The shower drainage and lighting issues have also been addressed.
