We came here for a business retreat. It was the perfect venue for us. We could all sit around the dining room table during the day and conduct our meeting and had that wonderful view to gaze at when we needed a break. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool and spa pool are a bonus. On the Friday night we had a BBQ dinner and on the Saturday we had a meal catered for by Pit's Kitchen which we can thoroughly recommend. Whatever the occasion you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

This is a excellent property for a large family or friend getaway! Each room is amazing and the pool, spa and grounds are well cared for. The bachcare team are friendly and really easy to deal with, I appreciated that! The caretaker on site is very friendly but did pop down more than we expected during our stay, given the amount we paid per night we thought it would be a tad more private but he was very friendly. Hi Siarn! Thank you for your lovely comments - our friendly Holiday Managers are there to help guests during their stays, so they do sometimes pop down to make sure you've got everything you need. We do apologise if this didn't match your expectations around privacy and take your comments on board. Hope to see you again!

Great house for a group of couples as there’s plenty of space and a bathroom each, the pool and spa are great and well enjoyed. The property itself is slightly dated and in need of a little TLC for the price.
Hi Jessie, we are glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback on the property. We have passed your comments on to the owners to address and they have since carried out an anormous amount of maintenance on the property, improving both the exterior and interior with some exciting additions. We look forward to seing you again soon so you can experience Paradise View Lodge at its very best!

I was concerned that the property would not live up to the expectations that the photos had created. I was wrong to be concerned. From the moment we stepped through the front door we knew it was a special place. Well designed and laid out the house and grounds has everything you could want for a holiday home. The house was clean and tidy and beds made with really nice sheets and bedding. Some of the beds are very firm, so test them out before you decide rooms. The bedroom above the lounge can be noisy if people are still in the lounge when someone in there is trying to sleep, so save that one for your night owls. The property is only a 10 minute car trip down to Waipu or the beach, but if you don't want the beach, the spa and pool at the property are wonderful. To top off your relaxation ask Jeanie and Jessie to put you in touch Alex from Infinity Massage. Alex is a local and will come up to the property and offers great massages. I can testify to that. There is a small room on the property by the pool that can be used for massages. All in all, a great place to relax and unwind. I'd go back tomorrow! Dianne
