So warm and cosy with the fire going. Comfy beds with electric blankets needed by the Aussies staying with us :) It is located close to the river walk so a nice stroll into town.

The house was big enough for 8 of us. The wood burner is great and heated the entire house easily, in fact we had to open the door on occasion as it got too hot! Nicely located near the walking/cycling tracks and not too far from the centre of Arrowtown. We would happily stay again.

Would recommend to others wanting a easy place to stay in Arrowtown. Easy access to playgrounds, Arrowtown central, rive cycle/walkways. Next time bringing the bikes to explore further!

We have owned a holiday house and the 'rules' seemed a little on the 'parental' spectrum. This house doesn't have insulation and the windows are not double glazed so there was water dripping off the windows in the mornings. We found it cold in April so I wouldn't advice staying here in winter and that was with the wood burner running. The warmth didn't reach all the rooms and some of the heaters had been disconnected - the wires were hanging out the back of them. Although this was a nice enough house I believe there are some things that would help make it more easy to stay in.

We know that our alpine regions can be a little chilly, so we're sure to list the heating available at a property within the amenities section.
