“Throughly enjoyed our stay in Wanaka.”

However the house was not very clean when we arrived, still had the previous occupants comments on the bench etc, wasn’t enough kitchen plates/ bowls, empty beer bottles left on windowsills, some of the lights were broken, incorrect code was supplied for lockbox. Stunning deck with great views and a short walk to the lake.

“An older style crib with very basic amenities.”

Great for a couple as the main bedroom is lovely and upstairs is quite cute. Downstairs area is very cold and I wouldn’t recommend using unless it is a summer rental. Furniture throughout the house is old and shabby and apart from the main bed, the rest are not great.

Nestled on a quiet street at the western end of Wanaka’s main beach, Roy’s Bay, this fuss-free family bach offers all the comforts of home and is just 200m from the lake. Welcome to Goodall Crib! Filled with natural light right up to its vaulted ceilings, you’ll love nothing more than kicking back in your spacious open-plan living area admiring the breathtaking mountain views out the large picture windows. Open up the sliding glass doors for that all-important indoor-outdoor flow onto your deck, where an alfresco dining setting and BBQ await for fantastic Kiwi summer feasts. Whatever the season, you’ll find nothing but comfort here at Goodall Crib. Set just the right temperature with either the heat pump or wood burning fireplace, then put your feet up with a glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir. A well-equipped kitchen is on hand to self-cater your stay, and you simply can’t go wrong dining against a mountain backdrop like that. Three bedrooms, with a range of bedding configurations, sleep up to six guests here at Goodall Crib. Two rooms upstairs enjoy those wonderful views and use of a full bathroom. A second bathroom downstairs, plus a full laundry, complete the setup for your stay. Goodall Crib is in an ideal location to offer peace and quiet away from the bustling lakefront, but close enough that you still have all the convenience of being within walking distance of everything you’ll need. It’s just a 2-minute walk to the water, and a 25-minute wander (or 5-minute drive) into town where you’ll find shops, eateries, and conveniences. If you fancy a day trip, head to Queenstown (via the Crown Range) in under an hour, or hit the slopes of Cardrona and Treble Cone in about 40 minutes drive from your home away from home.
