“A great little place to stay.”
Very central and within walking distance of the town centre. Unfortunately roadworks right outside the door meant that there was no parking close by if the internal parking space was already occupied. They were really clear about the slippery deck iff the weather cooled but they could do with an extra light or two on the deck by the stairs. No street lights and a very dark dark made it a bit iffy sometimes. Spa pool was a lovely way to end the day. House was warm and clean and the ease of ...

Maria-elena “This is an awesome house to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in it.”
It's so close to the center and it's quite modern and also having a spa pool is a great idea to unwind and relax either in the morning or night. Cecelia (manager) was helpful and replied to my queries ASAP in which we liked and appreciated, but the only concern we have is that person (man) I talked to from Bachcare 0800 on 28th of Dec when we reached to our accommodation and we needed help so I called that 0800 number around 6:20 pm to 6:45 pm on 28th of Dec and that man was so rude and very unhelpful and hang up the phone on me when I was desperate for help. Luckily, Cecilia (manager) replied to me otherwise I would have lost it completely. We never encountered someone nasty like that, who works in the hospitality industry. He better find another job somewhere else where he doesn't need to be nice with people and be his own boss!! He is an embarrassment to Bachcare!! Also, I would like to point out that all people working in Bachcare should be all on the same page rather than one person saying this and another saying different. It's not on!!! People should know what's included in the accommodation chosen, otherwise do not let them answer the phone as it is embarrassing to the company. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stayed and Cecelie was excellent with our queries.

We enjoyed the large kitchen connected to the lounge. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to drop our bags off earlier. As well having a spa pool (shared) was a big bonus. Our only concerns were, to have extra cups, glasses, and cutlery as it wasn't enough for 6 people. As well to change the kitchen sponge as the one under the sink was unusable. It would have been great to have day curtains as the house is right on the street and the only option is to have the night curtains closed (which makes it very dark inside) or have them open which then everyone from the street can see inside and it doesn't give much privacy. There are other units behind so some of the blinds can't be opened unless you want to see straight into another unit. Overall the stay was lovely and we would definitely consider coming back.

Lucky the weather was good and there was a place for the kids to play. After a few phone calls we got the code and was able to go inside. Really nice little bach. I would say that the other appartments had long term guests staying so even if you wanted to book the two bedroom and the studio you cant do that until January next year for all 4 units (we checked as we have kids and thought we should check to see if we could rent that too, we could hear the person in the studio unit so I am sure they could hear us and our kids....EK!) Just some things that need updating, Microwave works but so hard to open and close the door. Maybe a few more glasses, I think there was only 3 small glasses and 5 bigger ones but house will have 4 people stay so maybe just a couple more glasses would help. Other than that it was a great stay :)

We were glad to have booked the studio as well as it would be quite strange to have other guests stay in an adjoining room. Some of the blinds were coming to the end of their life but didnt impact us at all. Loved the warmth, the heatpump is awesome, and the room heaters were perfect. There were no pellets in the fire but it wasnt cold enough to use it and the heatpump was very effective. The pictures of the spa made us think it was private for our particular booking (apartment and studio) rather than the entire complex. I think the spa area could use lighting as it obviously gets dark quite quick and its hard to see anything out there. The water was fairly murky and the chlorine in the container had hardened making it tricky to pop some in. We did see someone working on the spa the day we left so maybe someone had already raised this. We really liked the apartment itself, with the closeness to town but felt like the spa was a bit of a letdown as that was one of the main reasons for us booking.

However, the property has a shared hot tub which backs onto the property. Guests from the other bach used this from 10pm until 4am. The walls are thin and the noise woke my children.
