Guest reviews for Crows Nest

Stayed March 2022Nice property just 5 minite drive from queenstown. We loved the view from this batch up on the hill, much better than compared to when we have stayed on the waterfront. For older people spiral staircase might be difficult to climb. Would definitely stay at this batch again!

Stayed February 2022a very comfortable property with wonderful views over Lake Wakatipu. Recommended!

Stayed February 2022A unique and very comfortable house with an unbelievable view. Worked great for a family of four. Very clean and well presented. Dog friendly but not really any outside space for dogs so we needed to take regular walks (there is a nice dog friendly park a short walk down the road). You could leave the dog on the balcony if you were heading out. Owners house is to the rear of the property (and two friendly cats). A short drive to town. Highly recommend.

Stayed September 2020Great place, unique design and great sights!!! Love it!!!

Stayed October 2020This is a comfortable home with an amazing view of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountain ranges. It is away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get to a supermarket and all the activities that Queenstown has to offer. Our stay here contributed to a very enjoyable week-long family holiday.

Stayed July 2020Fabulous place to stay, great views, peaceful and quiet. However the place just didn't warm up. The heat pump sent all the heat upstairs, the living area and bedroom downstairs were just too cold. We sat with a duvet and hot water bottles in the evening to keep warm! We wouldn't recommend it as a winter get away. Would be great in the warmer months. The place contained everything we needed.
Bachcare replied
Thank you for your feedback. The heat pump usually is adequate to heat the entire home  and there were 2 oil heaters in the apartment to supplement in case of extreme cold. We always recommend contacting the local Holiday Manager if you are cold so that they can help. Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back to The Crows Nest soon.

Stayed December 2019This quirky little property with its amazing views was a delight to stay in. A nice distance from busy Queenstown it allowed one the space to relax after a busy day. It was well equipped with everything we needed.

Stayed November 2019Great property, and quiet location reasonably close to centre of town. It had all we needed and good set up for two couples with two separate bathrooms. Beautiful views, we would definitely book again.

Stayed February 2019A very cute house with splendid views. The architecture and furnishing is thought over. It is compact, but really has everything you should wanted. Except...a garden, terrace or balcony.
Bachcare replied
Aren't the views just amazing! There's a beautiful park a short 5 minute walk from the property if you would like to enjoy some outdoor space, with the beach just a few more minutes down the road.

Stayed January 2019Need a lot more attention for a perfect holiday experience. This property needs: pest control clean entrance cutlery to match guest number
Bachcare replied
Hi Rana, thank you for your feedback and we're glad you loved the views upstairs at this property. You'll be happy to know that this property is often de-spidered. We are sorry to hear that you felt the entrance was cluttered while you stayed; you'll be happy to know that this is not usually the case and is now as pictured!
