Rustic converted woolshed with fantastic views out to mountains and farmland. Nicely situated between Queenstown and Arrowtown and close to Lake Hayes. Building entirely open plan except bathroom with only waist high partition between bedrooms and lounge/diner. Comfortable sofa, large dining table and kitchen opens out to small deck and large garden. Large bathroom with heated floor and great freestanding bath but shower has very unpredictable temperature. Warm inside with heat pump or woodburner.

Gorgeous location, lovely property, lovely other pooches on the property and hosts. Cosy and relaxing wee batch. Very close to Lake Hayes and start line for the Queenstown Half marathon. Idyllic.

Shotover Woolshed is an absolutely unique country experience. You stay in a beautifully done up old woolshed that still keeps all of the rustic charm of its original visage. The beds are comfortable and the amenities are great... especially the bath! But the best thing is being able to sit out on the deck (it was sunny all day!) and look out at all the mountains of the Wakatipu Basin. It was particularly special that I was able to take my dog along - he had the time of his life roaming around the huge grounds and swimming in the pond!
