If you are really keen bring your own water skis, fly fishing gear, kayaks or boat (public boat ramp & jetty nearby)…or simply just relax.

This is a really cute bach in every sense of the word. Somewhere you can feel comfortable and at home. The location is superb and the lake perfect for swimming for everyone - nice and shallow and sandy for the little ones while the big ones had fun in the kayak we had brought. Gorgeous sunsets and definitely try the neighbour's honey! We will be back for sure!

2 families with 4x 16-20 yr olds, enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the peaceful lakeside. We should have been more prepared for fishing. ..but still got to taste some fresh smoked trout 😊

Such an easy and efficient experience with Bachcare. Adi was great to deal with, and our bach was exactly what we wanted for a quiet weekend away. We hope to come back for another stay!

The house was not tidy we also saw the photos taken weren’t representing the living space well.
Hi Debbie, thank you for this feedback and we're sorry to hear this house was not up to your expectations. The photos of the property have since been updated.

We've been here several years in a row. The place has been nicely spruced up and decluttered and, in contrast to previous years, good, dry(ish) firewood is supplied. It's an ideal getaway within a couple of k's of the Waitangi Soda Springs. We'll definitely come bacj.
