House was situated perfectly into the bush and had all the amenities you could need. Driveway is super step and there isn't a fenced area or grassed area for your pet just a deck and balcony.

I would not rent this house again
We are so very sorry that on this occasion you did not find the bach as you would have hoped and we do hope to deliver the next time you book with us.

We had a lovely holiday, the house was warm and heating was on prior to our arrival which was great. The property had everything we needed. The location was great and handy for walks around the river. The only thing that let the property down was the overpowering smell of rats! We live in the bush also so appreciate that they are around but the smell was quite unpleasant downstairs. The previous clean could have been a bit more thorough but we all have differing standards! Other than that we enjoyed our stay and all the wonderful cycling Rotorua has to offer.
Thank you for your review Helen. We are delighted that the bach was warm for your arrival and you managed to explore Rotorua by bicycle. We do take every precaution to try and prevent rodent presence in these more remote properties and will certainly look into this further. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us this feedback and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Lovely property that was nicely warmed up before we arrived. This was a dog friendly venue which was brilliant for us (and our Labrador). The sleeping facilities were great and excellent sized kitchen and living area. We brought our own food for most our meals and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans etc which made cooking really easy. We needed to contact the property owner a couple of times when we first arrived and found her very friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend this bach for a relaxing stay.

Lovely spot amongst the tree tops. Nicely laid out bach. Definitely worth checking out the store which is 2 mins walk away.

A lovely home, with plenty of space and loads of board games. Great location, with greenery all round. The road in front can be busy.

Would not recommend this place at all as there were a few rats which we could see after every couple of hours. A few spiders could be noticed aswell. There was a unpleasant smell the entire time which was in the curtains and inside the house aswell. House was not clean table cloth and sofas were dirty. Dishes were not washed properly on arrival. There was washing machine there but no laundry powder which made it impossible to use it. Overall it was a unpleasant stay.
Thank you for your review Arnav. We were so sorry to hear that your recent stay with us was not as you had anticipated. We do really appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback so that we can ensure that cleaning is to standard and the rodent issues, which can be prevalent at this time of year, are under control.

The home is a lovely well appointed and obviously well loved family bach and we liked all the extra touches, great vids and music, washing machine and drier which we didn't need, but would be helpful in the winter. Very accessible to the lake and nice walks. Happy to recommend as a great location for safe family holidays.

Such a spacious house, in a beautiful treetop setting. The weather was crazy while we were in Rotoiti, but the house was perfect for that. Super comfortable beds, and a great kitchen - easy to self cater. Even the knives were properly sharp! Thanks for having us, and for sorting out the hot water problem so quickly.

Perfect hideaway in Okere Falls, had everything that we needed.

The property was neat and clean when we arrived. We had some issues with the washing machine, but one phone call to the manager and we got a very nice caretaker to come and sort out the issue. The property has what you need to enjoy your stay, however the property is located in the Bush and will be shaded some of the time. We still had some nice afternoons on the veranda.
