Loved the top level viewing platform! I think the only thing we can be critical of is that much of the cutlery, crockery, glasses and the large frying pan were all not cleaned thoroughly. We had to clean all these items before using them. Other than that it was a lovely stay at a great location.

Fur bud had a fantastic break at the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Would stay again!

! The house was uninhabitable during the course of the day due to the heat (that was with all doors and windows open) and only one really old and quite frankly useless fan in the place. We were unable to to continue staying there as it was also too hot for our dog. Really disappointing as this was our first holiday in three years!!! The only thing that lived up was the locality to the beach.

It was in a great location, a short walk to the beach and Tay Street cafe. It was handy having 2 bathrooms. Check that the fridge, oven and barbecue are in good working condition before you book or go. The property is suitable for a small to medium size dog.

The area is lovely but we would not stay in this property again. It needs a re-arrange and an update in the kitchen and bathrooms. Once that's done it will be a great wee place once again. We loved the avocado tree laden with fruit! Bachcare, we would love to stay with you again if you would only answer emails and phone calls :-(

Neighbours close by, but only a block or two from the beach. No aircon, but ground floor is tiled and gets a breeze through, so wasnât too hot in the mid 20âs.

There's plenty of space both indoors and out for the whole family, with three bedrooms across two levels and a rooftop sundeck. Sandcastles on Tay is pet-friendly too, so your furry family members can come along for the fun! Open plan living is on tiles with underfloor heating - perfect for both sandy feet and in the winter months! This flows out onto the private back patio with two outdoor dining areas and a cute small chair perfect for relaxing in the afternoon sun. The garage converted into a rumpus room is stocked with books and board games, plus a comfy chair to relax in while you catch up on some holiday reading. Sandcastles on Tay is in a great location on Tay Street, only 4 minutes walk to the beach, stopping past Tay St Beach Cafe for delicious brunch or coffee. Take the boogie boards provided down for fun in the waves, or fly a kite at Blake Park. You're also very close to the international cricket grounds for anyone keen to catch a match! This is a wonderful holiday home for families, close to the heart of the action but down a peaceful street away from the bustling main strip.
