we had a drip ( like Chinese torture) on the pillow and also at the foot of the bed for half the night!

Conor “We had leaks in 2 out of three bedrooms over two nights after a rainstorm.”
We were were in contact with the owner and she was very nice apologetic, but she had only heard from bachcare at 4pm on Saturday All quite manageable but bachcare haven't been back in touch after our calls... Not impressed.

It’s a very good house for an extended family to spend a few days in, with the beach 100m away, and multiple restaurants and a Four Square in walkable distance. The layout is a bit funky as the top floor has the living room, while the floor below has the kitchen and a smallish dining table, so if you tend to be a family of frequent tea/coffee drinkers you run the risk of not enjoying the views to the maximum without corralling everyone upstairs! On the flip side, having two living areas allow kids to have their own space… One other item: the bunk beds are behind a curtain off the living room, not in a separate room, so you need to take that into account when planning sleeping arrangements! Overall a very nice stay in an amazing location - just a couple of points to be mindful of.

However Bach cares communication with me was poor, as we could not get into the property on time. The house was not cleaned and basics like milk were not provided. Comfortable beds..

It was in a perfect spot, lovely and quiet and so close to beautiful Onetangi beach, as well as the restaurants within walking distance. The house was lovely and clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The two decks is a bonus with lovely outdoor furniture and large umbrella. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

It was very comfortable for 3 adults with plenty of living space and decks with lovely views. Sue from bachcare was very welcoming. We would happily return for a longer stay.

Just a 3 minute walk onto the beach, Alison's Place is a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom Onetangi holiday home on Waiheke. This modern and relaxed beach house is just the ticket for a refreshing island getaway! This 2 level Onetangi holiday home includes open plan kitchen dinner on the main level with a fresh and beachy vibe - open the bi-fold doors for classic island summers! Upstairs the main lounge area opens up onto the upper deck - gaze out to the bush and ocean scenery, or watch the tennis courts below. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are located on the main level at Alison's Place and have a queen bed and double bed respectively. A small bedroom on the upper level has a single bunk with a height restriction on the upper bunk. A daybed in the upper floor lounge converts to a king single bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with an additional shower in the basement laundry area to complete your Waiheke home - ideal for a range of groups, including friends, families, and couples. Wander down to the beach for cruisy days in the sand and surf, or check out the local cafe within a couple of minutes from your door. Plus, the bus stop is within easy walking distance for those wanting to explore the island and check out what's on offer - wineries, restaurants, hiking, and more...
