It was a good 3 minute walk to Martinborough square, therefore ideal location. Ping pong table was a great extra!

Good new addition to have Queen bed in second room. The place really needs a dishwasher (especially in Covid times for hygiene reasons).

Loved the barn area outside with ping pong room for the kids. Great place for travelling with little kids. They slept on the bottom bunks and when my toddler woke up, I jumped into the Queen bed in their room with her so my other child didnât wake up wondering where we were. Perfect set up with a Queen bed and 2 single bunk beds (lower beds as the two top bunks arenât for guests). Plus a second bedroom with a Queen sized bed and nicely decorated. Walkable distance to town with kids. Will Definately stay here again.

Such a convenient location close to the centre of town. Loved the table tennis and games selection, and the shaded patio under the walnut tree. Would definitely book again.

It's tastefully decorated, clean, and just a lovely place to stay and relax. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor options as well. If I'm back in this area, I'll definitely be looking out for this property. Being close to the village, it really is a perfect spot. And thank you to our property manager, Kylie, who was just a delight to deal with.

Comfortable and relaxed living with every detail taken care of. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out makes it an attractive option regardless of the weather. Second time we have stayed and am sure there will be a third and fourth...

The property is super comfortable and perfect spot to have a weekend away. Itâs located on one of the busier roads and could hear the traffic but upside was itâs super close to everything in town. We were lucky enough to bring our little dog and was absolutely perfect for dogs, fully fenced and large enough for her to have a wee run around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Martinbrough and the cottage. The cottage has been tastefully renovated and has good heating in the main living area and the bedrooms. The position, about 5 minutes walk from the main town square with plenty of lovely places to meet, was ideal. Only thing to improve - a washing machine would have been great, especially for longer stays.

With WiFi on hand for winter days spent snuggled up indoors and in the summer take it outdoors, fire up the BBQ and have an alfresco meal on the sundeck. Martinborough's colonial charm fills the streets with historic character, so a wander in any direction is treat. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the end of the street will have you in the in centre of the village - take your pick of cafe's, restaurants or catch a film at the boutique cinema. Fine wines and vineyards are what Martinborough is all about and most are within walking or cycling distance of The Walnut Tree House. But if handcrafted beer is more up your alley, you'll be pleased to know the Martinborough Brewery and Tasting Room is only a 7-minute walk away!
