    “The house is generally very comfortable and clean, with modern fixtures, the kitchen a particular feature.”

    The location is very good near to the Surfdale shops (incl good coffee!) However the while the guest WiFi network was visible on our devices, the WiFi password provided did not work and when we asked the manager for a correct one they gave us the same one that didn't work so we had no WiFi for our stay. The shower mixer in the main bathroom is faulty meaning showers could only last for the time it took for the shower to go from cold to scalding. If these two matters are resolved the house is a ...

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Okahu House accommodates up to eight guests across its three bedrooms and has two generous bathrooms, making this the ideal retreat for a family or a couple's retreat. Morning strolls and ocean swims are all too easy, with gorgeous Oneroa Beach a 2-minute drive, or a 10-minute walk away. On the way home, why stop into one of the delicious local eateries in Surfdale. You'll have no trouble getting around Waiheke with a well-serviced bus stop, only five minutes walk way, taking you to a variety of restaurants, beaches and the Matiatia Wharf. The local Countdown Waiheke supermarket is a six-minute drive away, or wine and dine at one of the picturesque vineyards close by, including Cable Bay and Mudbrick. Your idyllic and peaceful Waiheke escape awaits, here at Okahu House!

About the location

Surfdale Beach is located on the Western end of Waiheke looking back towards Auckland. The beach can pick up a bit of a breeze, making it a popular place for keen windsurfers and kite surfers. When you're not sitting back and chilling out, Surfdale is just a short drive away from some of the world-class wineries around Waiheke including Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant. All of our Surfdale holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
