    “What a lovely place to stay.”

    It was such a nice touch to arrive to the heating on, and then to see how beautifully clean it was. (No bugs in sight) The yurt is well stocked with everything you could need for a stay, and wood in the baskets for a fire! It is well presented, clean and toasty warm. Heat pump and fireplace in the main space and heaters in the rooms. Thanks so much for the use of your yurt, it was a cool place to stay and a novelty too! Totally lives up to the ad and photos

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Turoa Yurt offers a unique and charming holiday experience in the fabulous ski town of Ohakune. There's a huge selection of board games to keep you entertained on chilly nights as you relax with your family around the fireplace. Ideal for snow bunnies, Turoa Yurt is a 2-minute drive to the base of Ohakune-Mountain Road which leads up to Turoa ski field. After a day on the slopes, you're a 10-minute walk from home to the Powderkeg Restaurant, OCR wine bar and Take 5 Restaurant for a delicious feed. A 2-minute drive in the other direction lands you in the centre of Ohakune with shopping, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Discover the fun of yurt living by the mountain at Turoa Yurt!
