“Wonderful property.”
Fantastic views and surrounding area. Extremely comfortable home and very welcoming. All bedrooms had ample room to store your luggage. Kitchen facilities were amazing. Truly a home away from home. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay and loved watching the sun rise in the morning, seeing the boats in the inlet during the day and watching the twinkling lights at night. A fabulous holiday was had by all. Thank you for the wonderful venue.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The perfect spot to live out your summer days, recline on the cosy outdoor couch on the large upper-level deck, with your tipple of choice in hand taking in the breathtaking views of the bay. The second, smaller deck also provides a quiet place to rest, read a book or plan your day's activities. Double Bay Hideaway borders native reserve land, amidst established bush which attracts the Tui, Parakeets and Kiwi! Listen out for captivating bird calls, and if you're lucky at night, you could pop your head out to see if you can spot the Kiwi quietly popping out from their own little hideaway. Self-cater your stay in the fully equipped, entertainersâ style kitchen, where no one needs to be out of the conversation while preparing a feast to fuel the troops. Pair your creations with your favourite BBQ treats, and come together around the table to create lasting memories. As shown in the photos the property has unfenced access to bordering reserve land, which is great for native birdsong. Absolutely no pets allowed, and guests should take personal responsibility for the safety of their group in and around the bush. It is in a very quiet area, please respect the neighbours and drive carefully at night to avoid Kiwi crossing.
There is a spa at this property that is not available for guest use.
The king sized bed in bedroom two can be split to make two single beds. Please note it is Super-king sized if bringing your own linen, and please inform us at the time of booking which configuration you require.
The property is on a hill with a view, and though the driveway is steep, it is wide with a good concrete surface and has a turning bay at the entrance to the property.
Guests should bring their own Nespresso compatible pods to make use of the available machine.

Kerikeri is a fantastic town to linger in, and was voted New Zealand's top small town. It is rich with history, and visitors can visit the historic Kerikeri Mission Station for a very small cost. The Kerikeri township offers great dining opportunities, and some wonderful boutique stores. All of our Kerikeri holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
