“Lovely affordable kiwiana bach.”

Being so close to the beach was amazing, the photos are a true representation of the house. Comfortable with all the amenities you need on holiday. Comfy beds, wifi a bonus. Being able to travel with our family, including the dog - having a fenced garden (for kids, or pets in our case) was what sealed the deal. Loved our stay and would recommend to others.

“Great Bach!”

Such easy access to the beach (literally across the road) and a quiet cul-de-sac meant it was awesome for our kids to learn to ride their bikes safely. We had a blast and will definitely stay again if we can.

“The house was as described, if not better.”

It was hot, and we slept on the mezzanine floor - but there were fans - and our children had fun playing in the upstairs space (and we) loved playing cards, and board games! Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was easy to use, and the downstairs was open and airy during the day! The outdoor shower was a god send too! Would hundred percent recommend or return! :)

“We had a fabulous time in your lovely home and only wish we could have stayed longer!”

We didn't get good beach weather while we were there but it didn't matter - the place is well stocked with DVDs, board games and books and we really appreciated that we were able to bring our dog with us. We hope to be back sometime soon!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

This Omaha accommodation has an open-plan living area with TV and Chromecast, that feels modern and cosy. The fireplace keeps you toasty during cooler stays, or wander onto the generous deck for laid back BBQ's in the sun! Bedroom one at this Omaha accommodation is situated downstairs and is fitted with a double bed. Upstairs, bedroom two is located off the mezzanine area and is fitted with a queen bed. The open plan mezzanine includes three single beds. The family bathroom and laundry are located downstairs. Make a plan for the day and be sure to factor in the available beach gear you'll have access to in the garage. When you are not relaxing on the deck, stroll to the beach just moments from your door... All the basics are on hand for a refreshing beach getaway! When everyone gets home off the beach, the onsite outdoor shower is just what you need to rinse off any sand that made its way home with you. About the location

Just an 8-minute drive from Matakana is the long stretch of a white sandy surf beach that is Omaha. This is a great area to base yourself from, located within a short drive to all the gems of the area such as Snells beach, Sandspit, Campbell's Beach and Tawharanui National Park. The best place to be in Omaha is certainly beachside, watching surfers battle the waves or taking a dip in one of the calmer areas yourself.
