Iain “The property feels a little tired.”
Quite a few things broken (toilet brush, soap dispensers). Property was covered in cobwebs, spiders and dust. Shower doesn't drain properly. It just feels old and tired and not well maintained. Towels and bedding were good.

Gareth “Generally our stay was good and we loved the location however these are things i felt could be improved: There was almost no hand soap in all of the dispensers, one paper towel left on the roll in the kitchen, lack of tablets for the dishwasher (there were 2 floating around loose under the sink), there were no extra pillows, there was not enough space for everyone to hang up a towel.”
The house was advertised as having 'cooling'. A basic HRV system is not cooling! There was no clothesline, and the rack provided was tiny! The toilet brush was missing half it's handle! There was barely enough toilet paper to cover our stay In general the property had the following maintenance issues: Screws missing from cupboard door handle front door lock keeper was barely being held in, door looked as though it had been kicked in before and a very poor repair job had been undertaken, wouldn't take much to bust in the front door in it's current state. Some of the windows had no way of locking them open (to stop them blowing around in the wind) one of the windows in the North East bedroom looks to have indeed been blown open at some stage splitting the frame with the end result it is only held on by 30% of it's screws! i opened the window and it nearly fell off! the bathroom door had no keeper, so could not be shut/ would pop open on it's own accord and the toilet door had a lock that was useless as the sliding pin had no hole to slide into!

Yvette “Great little place to stay at”
- Yvette, April 2023Kennedy “Although the rooms appeared to be clean, the main sofa in the living room was smelling, lots of hair (pets/human), which was not cool.”
The lack of WIFI is really bad. I may be pedantic but there are minor things which can elevate the place, the toilet brush should be replaced. It was too "stained" and nasty. I believe a little attempt to remove cobweb at least within the living space can go a long way. I'll also recommend an making available a mid-sized bin. Otherwise, property was very nice.
- Kennedy, November 2022Lana “Travelled up from Auckland for the long weekend and we had the best weekend stay.”
We were able to bring our fur babies along who also loved the big back yard to run around. Would highly recommend.
- Lana, September 2022Katherine “We loved our stay in this beautifully located bach.”
Its a lovely cimfortable house that has been recently rennovated and had everything we needed. Highly recimmended.
- Katherine, September 2022Sarah “Clean house in a nice location, but a lot smaller than looks on website.”
Very limited supplies, drying facilities lacking, and advertised as having s fire for heating but not advertised that you need to buy your own firewood!!
- Sarah, June 2022Elvina “This home has a lovely setting in a peaceful neighbourhood.”
The house is modern and nicely decorated. It is great that they allow you to bring your pets. it is advertised as being fully fenced and pet-friendly. It is not fully fenced, so something to be aware of if you are wanting this.
- Elvina, April 2022Nadine “A great location, perfect for exploring Kerikeri.”
A few minor changes (as I have suggested separately) would make it a great place to stay for a small family.

- Stephan, December 2021Janice “Beautiful views sitting on the deck listening to the Tui âs”
- Janice, June 2021Andrew “Beautiful location and nicely renovated property; felt privileged to be one of the first to enjoy it; would improve if WIFI was offered and will need heating system in winter, but wood burner in living area was lovely.”
- Andrew, April 2021Osamu “We loved the house and the location.”
There was everything we needed for the adults and kids. The best part was being able to bring our dog Cruz with us to Northland. It was a treat to hear the kiwi birds at night. The only thing missing from the house was WiFi. We would recommend this lovely house.
