About the location
Waipapakauri is a small beachside settlement and home of the 90-Mile-Beach Snapper classic held in February each year. Similar to Ahipara, it has acres of beach to play on and tuatua beds not far from the beach ramp. A must do is visiting the park restaurant during the weekend to sample their classic all you can eat lamb on the spit.
