It was really clean and beds were comfy. It had everything we needed and we were extremely grateful that the owners allowed us to use their bikes. Perfect for our labrador and toddler to roam outside (fully fenced property). We will definitely book again :)

Everywhere nice clean and tidy. Toddler really enjoyed the heated outside shower after a short walk back from the beach. Fully fenced which was great for the dogs. Thanks Slice of Pauanui I'm sure well be back again

We were there during ex tropical cyclone Hale and it was a nice Bach to stay in while the storm raged and Hikuai Settlement Rd was flooded. Lots of space, comfy beds, WIFI, everything we needed. Hubby said the BBQ was excellent. :-)

The property

The main house has an open-plan living and dining area that opens out onto the sundeck the perfect spot to relax after a day on the beach and enjoy a BBQ! Enjoy the comfort of this spacious beach base, just a 5-minute walk from the white sand and blue water of the surf beach. Pack a picnic, the backyard cricket set and the sunscreen and wander over to the beach for all-day sun, sand and sea - then come home and rinse off under the outdoor shower. If you don't feel like cooking or need supplies, maybe some ice-creams, the local shop, cafe, bar and restaurant and takeaway are all within a 5-minute drive.
