    “It was a pleasant surprise to how improved the bach was from the photos on the website.”

    The views were breathtaking and the bach was very comfortable. The new deck was fantastic. I will definitely book this bah again as we had a wonderful Easter weekend.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Or relax with a cuppa in the conservatory as you put your feet up with that book you've been saving for this very moment. Indoors, make the most of the open-plan living and dining space kitted out with all the essentials, including a TV with Chromecast, fun games of table tennis & darts, and the fuss-free kitchen well-equipped for a self-catered stay. Three cosy bedrooms sleep up to six guests here at this Onemana accommodation, with a washing machine, dryer and a bathroom with tub completing the setup for your stay.  From Te Waahi Hono, you're just an eight-minute stroll to the beach (feel free to use the mountain bike and helmets, or take the sea canoes available at the bach!). There's a playground, tennis court and large reserve at the beach location; what a great spot for the kids! Back at home, rinse off the sand under the refreshing outdoor shower. If you want to treat yourself to a brunch or beverage, the Onemana Boatshed Café is just 7 minutes away on foot, or you’re a 10-minute drive from Whangamata to discover the local supermarket, boutique shops, and eateries.  For fantastic views and a place to call home for a Kiwi summer getaway, Te Waahi Hono awaits! 

Adults should closely supervise young children to ensure that they do not climb the horizontal wooden slats in the deck barrier.

Please be aware the sleepout at this property is accessed externally and the bathroom is inside the main dwelling.

As there are active electric fences at the back of the property, all guests should take care not to touch these.

The outdoor shower at this property is cold water only.

A spare gas bottle is available for the BBQ.

About the location

Just north from the popular beach town Whangamata, Onemana is a beautiful and secluded beach, perfect for those who want to escape and unwind. The beach is characteristic of a classic Coromandel East Coast gem with white sand, great swimming and azure waters. Popular activities here include surfing, diving, snorkelling and fishing. The town is equipped with a grocery store and cafe, and the facilities of Whangamata are just a 10 minute drive away. All of our Onemana holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
