The only redeeming feature was the clean bed linen and towels and sheets change mid stay. Poor facilities, listing pics far better than reality, a really shitty bach for a greedy over priced owner. Knew there was no wifi, but another example of pure greed. Would never stay here again.

Ashleigh “Very disappointed.”
We were aware that refunds lie outside of terms and conditions but thought there may be some sort of compassionate consideration given the extreme circumstances with the recent cyclone. Were only able to stay for 24 hours instead of the paid for 8 days. They offered us a very short time frame to rebook with the same Bach but within the next 12months which is impossible for us so we have had absolutely no refund. Will not be using bachcare again and will make sure to recommend against it to others.

We were disappointed there was no wifi. Having travelled from abroad we had no access to data without paying roaming fees and needed to check emails etc. Great location but needs some love.

Albeit the original plan was to have a family holiday of six, only two of us managed to make it due to illness and weather restricting travel which was disappointing for the family unit not to be able to enjoy this fabulous abode together! Hence, hoping we can return to enjoy this magical spot all together at another time. When the weather was in our favour, we meandered up the hill behind the Bach to catch the beautiful morning starts and sunsets in the evening with a cuppa or vino/beer in hand. We even managed to enjoy our breakfast up there one morning. The views.... truly delightful! The two expansive decks, made for all day/evening options to enjoy the sun or cool breeze with the gorgeous bird life passing by. Having an easy stroll to the Ferry, Front Beach and Flaxmill Bay an absolute bonus! - A retro winner for sure :) ... We will return!

Easy drive to Cathedral cove and other sights. Lovely and tidy bach, with it's own Wood Pigeon in the Guava Tree off the deck :) Would definitely stay again.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
A relaxed and fuss-free holiday home, Sun Seeker Bach is perched up on the hill backing onto lush native bush and looking out to the surrounding Coromandel landscape. This 2-bedroom 1-bathroom Ferry Landing bach includes sunny open plan living that opens out into a sunroom and to the sundeck. Set yourself up for ideal summer living, fire up the BBQ and enjoy some downtime with your family or group! At the end of a busy day exploring the local area or down on the beach, get comfy in the lounge, pour a cold drink and throw on a DVD for the family. Located within 150m to cafes/restaurants and easy walks (or short drives) to many swimming beaches, such as the beautiful Front Beach. Enjoy being a 100m stroll to the Whitianga ferry, which crosses you over to Whitianga Township in only 10 minutes. Everything you need for a coromandel getaway awaits. Welcome to Sun Seeker Bach!
