“A great place to stay, beautiful setting, very close to town and I had a lovely morning walk next to the sea inlet.”

There were 3 of us and we were all comfortable however I had asked for linen and we were provided with queen bed linen and 1 single. This was a bit of a problem as 1 person had the queen bed and the other two slept in the 2 singles...a genuine mistake. The manager of the complex was annoyed when we asked for another sheet and of course didn't supply because Villa 12 was privately owned. He made nasty comments about the villa being "not up to standard" and "dated" which was harsh, as we were very ...

Everything worked, comfy beds, good shower, all cutlery provided, no noisy neighbours, clean and an absolutely beautiful setting. Just one maintenance job needs to be seen to....the hot tap in the kitchen has a vibrating pipe that makes hell of a noise when turned on.

“The listing was quite inaccurate with the description as the kitchen was listed as being able to test your culinary skills, it had 3 pots, 1 pan, no bowls (couldn’t make a basic salad and I challenge anyone to have their children eat from those “bowls”, we ended up serving them weetbix out of plastic picnic wear we had packed for picnics), one dirty oven tray, no rubbish bin.”

The chairs were uncomfortable, the coffee machine was obviously just a discarded one and was sitting unplugged with a hairdryer under the TV. The place was dirty when we arrived, the kitchen was dirty, especially the fridge, which had some kind of meat juice all through it, and had leftovers from the previous stay. There are no hooks for towels (well 2 in the bathroom) we had to hang bath towels on the back of dining chairs. Basically if we had have known we would have made sure to bring what we needed, but bachcare need to update the information on this listing, and also consider that if they want to charge Bach prices it needs to be at least kitted out with what a Bach usually has. It is obvious that this is not someone’s Bach, the owner would never stay here, it is their investment, and is badly maintained, with only the very basic of basics provided (cooking wise it was appalling). We stay in baches 5-10 times per year, and this is by far our least comfortable or accurate booking over the last 10 years. The other villas are serviced and appear in much better condition, so charging their prices would also be a stretch. Bach care need to be much more accurate, I will be reluctant to book through them again.
