    “In terms of location, Nigel's crib is a great place to stay.”

    Only 5 min walk from beautiful Coopers beach. Plenty of parking and lawn to play the summer games. However... it is a little tired. Rather than putting a note on the wall warning that the oven is a little slow, lease let us know that slow is an understatement and the elements on top don't work well either. For the price of the crib I would recommend a working oven. Likewise for the price perhaps an update in the furnishings. If you are happy with rustic and a classic old crib (bach) with no ...

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Welcome to Nigel's Crib! This delightful quintessential Kiwi bach is situated in Coopers Beach, just a two-minute walk from the beachfront. Imagine making this cosy little spot your home base this summer! Presented with homely furnishings and offering a relaxing holiday atmosphere the minute you step in the door, this bach has a unique layout with an open-plan living area that opens to the sheltered sundeck connecting all the bedrooms. On summer evenings, get the BBQ fired up, open up the sun umbrella and tuck into a classic alfresco meal with your group or family surrounded by the lush garden. The kitchen and living areas have been tastefully renovated and are equipped with everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, to the wide selection of DVDs, games, puzzles and books. When it's time to make a plan for the day and get out for some exploring, make a day trip to Cape Reinga via a three-hour return journey. Or within an hour's drive, you can visit Kerikeri for attractions like The Stone Store, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Paihia, even stop by the famous Kawakawa Hundertwasser toilets, or ride on the unique Bay of Islands Vintage Railway. A must visit is historic Mangonui, just a quick five-minute drive away. If you don't feel like cooking when you get home from the beach, and you and the family are in the mood for some amazing local cuisine, try out The Thai or Indian Spice, both located in Mangonui. The popular Kebaby Turkish Street Food truck is another option, located a two-minute drive or 20 minute walk along the beach, at Cooper's Beach shops. About the location

These seaside settlements of Coopers Beach, Cable Bay and Taipa overlook some truly spectacular coastline. For those who enjoy diving, Coopers Beach offers some great shore diving spots. Many of the baches and holiday homes have been in the same family for generations, and this coastline is only just now beginning to feel the touches of residential development. The Taipa Bay Resort offers a family friendly dining experience that rivals many world-class restaurants.
