“This is a great little house.”

Really clean, kitted out and great location. The only thing stopping it getting a five star rating is the lack of a door between the bedrooms upstairs

“Very clean, comfortable cabin a great place to relax and unwind.”

Suggestion that stairs could have lighting or night light at the bottom. Great that we could take our dog in the fully fenced property. Would highly recommend as an awesome family holiday spot.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The dwelling provides two well-appointed bedrooms on the second floor. The main bedroom comprises a queen-size bed and flows through to the secondary bedroom which enjoys two singles. A gorgeous tiled bathroom with premium fittings will keep everybody refreshed and rejuvenated throughout the stay. Separate from the main dwelling, the sleepout is a private hideaway boasting a queen and bunk bed. This generous section offers peace, privacy and plenty of communal space to connect. Wrap-around decking and covered patio space provide an ideal summer setting for families and friends. Take a seat under the sun umbrella and fire up the BBQ. The site is also fully fenced to keep your furry friends safe and secure. Perfectly positioned in Foxton Beach, you're just a five-minute walk to direct beach access. Swim, surf and fish along the sandy shores. Make sure to visit the Ocean Beach Eatery and explore the surrounding recreation reserve, skate park and tennis court. As the mezzanine barrier is below 1 metre high, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.

All guests are encouraged to use the handrail when accessing the internal stairs as they are quite steep.

Please note the third bedroom is an externally accessed sleepout.

Please note access to bedroom 2 is via bedroom 1.

About the location

Foxton is set on the Manawatu River, and the estuary is wonderful spot for birdwatching, with its habitat that is home to many wildlife species. Foxton has a number of museums that inform visitors about the local history, especially the flax industry. Popular activities include fishing, yachting, swimming and jet boating.
