Overview

Can you picture yourself sitting with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, taking in the sea breeze while gazing out over the Tasman toward Kapiti Island? We can; right here at Ngā Karoro, an ideal choice for your next Raumati Beach getaway.

From the outside, Ngā Karoro is a classic Kiwi bach with an abundance of windows and an expansive private garden willing you to wander in its tranquility. Step inside, however, and you’re welcomed into a modern, well-presented holiday home decorated in sophisticated style with colours that echo the spirit of both Ngā Karoro’s name and its location.

The kitchen and dining space is light, bright, and packed with everything you’ll need to self-cater on your holiday. Modern stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, provide all the conveniences of home, while the wine fridge offers you that extra bit of holiday indulgence you’re looking for. There is also a laundry available for guests, with a washing machine and dryer for convenience on those longer getaways.

The living room invites you to get comfy on the couch with a book, play a game of Scrabble, or catch up on your favourite show on the Smart TV. We wouldn’t blame you if you’d prefer to watch that incredible view though, and with an additional cosy sun-room that opens out to the garden, your options for taking in the beauty are abundant. You’ll definitely want to snap a pic out toward Kapiti Island; instantly able to share it with your friends using the complimentary WIFI.

Just as cosy, are the three bedrooms Ngā Karoro boasts. Able to comfortably sleep six guests, this Raumati Beach holiday home offers two double-occupancy rooms with either a queen or a double bed, while the third room is ideal for one, but can sleep another thanks to the hideaway trundle bed. The two bathrooms offer both shower and bath options, and heated towel rails for a little bit of luxury.

Outdoors here at Ngā Karoro you’ll find outdoor furniture on both the north and east side of the house, offering an ideal spot to soak up the morning sunshine, as well as an alfresco dining option just waiting for you to fire up the BBQ and enjoy a sun-downer.

Raumati Beach is an ideal spot for a getaway if you like being close to town conveniences, but just far enough away to feel like you’ve escaped the fast pace of your everyday life. Ngā Karoro is just two minutes walk from the beach, and a five minute walk to Raumati Village where you’ll find fun for the whole family at the gorgeous Raumati Marine Gardens with its playground and miniature railway. In the village you’ll also find restaurants, cafes, and basic essentials, but with Paraparaumu only five minutes by car you won’t be short on options.
