The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze, while the adjoining dining area is perfect for sharing breakfast before heading out or gathering for dinner. A heat pump ensures year-round comfort, keeping the villa cool in summer and cosy through the cooler months. Sleeping up to four guests, Midtown Tui Villa features two well-appointed bedrooms, including a king bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. “Property was lovely and well maintained.”

Well situated for walk to town and beach. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach and went for a few swims. Only one in the pool though as it was quite warm and not so refreshing on a hot day.

“Fantastic central location to stay in Taupo , literally a stone throw to the lake and a short walk to town.”

The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need, with nice bed linen on comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending this as a great place to stay.

“The power point to the fridge and the microwave were not working so I had to wheel the fridge out from its cabinetry to plug it into the double power point that was above the kitchen bench.”

Which made the fridge sit in the middle of the kitchen. I rang backcare to let them know the fridge wasn’t working and they said they would send an extension lead. The next day, we realised the microwave was having the same issue. So I had to move the microwave on top of the kitchen benchtop to make it work. I had to move it back out if I wanted to use the cooktop. Unfortunately the extension lead never turned up so I had to leave the appliances not in their right space when we left. Apart from that, it is a really nice place to stay at.

Our property manager has since checked the appliances and found that the power switches had been turned off, which may explain why they weren’t working. “Property close to town and the lake.”

Clean and everything needed for cooking a meal. The main room is warm if the heating is on and the door is closed..... the rest of the apartment is cold even with the heating on. No mention that the second bedroom does not have a window... wooden slats opening onto the stairway. It would have been nice to have more than five tea bags and a small milk for a hot drink on arrival. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the stairwell to the garage and also in it.
