From the moment you turn into the driveway and approach this stunning property you’ll immediately feel on holiday. Beautifully manicured gardens lead you to the front door, welcoming you into a home where sophisticated styling meets cosy comfort; a match made in heaven.
The light and bright living room here at River Lookout Lodge features large sliding glass doors, creating that all important indoor-outdoor flow. Sit back and relax with a book, watch your favourite TV show, or stay connected with the complimentary WIFI.
A breeze flowing through will keep you comfortably cool on those hot summer days, while the heat pump and fireplace will ensure you’re toasty warm come winter.
The fully equipped kitchen with its gorgeous vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and modern design will be the hub for your family or friends to gather here at River Lookout Lodge. Wake in the morning to a freshly brewed coffee from the Nespresso machine and perch yourself at the breakfast bar. Or, spark up the BBQ and lay out a beautiful spread of food on the indoor or outdoor dining table and enjoy a meal together.
At the end of the feast, let the dishwasher do the hard work and pour yourself a drink. It’s time to take a dip in the hot-tub, and marvel at the views out over the leafy green yard down toward the river.
Lay your head in comfort each night in one of the four bedrooms here at River Lookout Lodge. The master bedroom is truly a sight to be seen, with its huge picture window and luxurious leather chairs that will have you basking in the sunshine, getting lost in the view for hours.
The main house here at River Lookout Lodge is complemented by a self-contained cottage, which retains much of its architectural heritage with pops of the same modern styling of the house. A cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and full bathroom offer everything a couple or teenage family member would need for a private space to call their own.
Located less than 20 minutes drive north of Taupo, River Lookout Lodge is an ideal spot to enjoy everything the lakeside town has to offer, while still enjoying a little slice of quiet, riverside paradise.

Absolutely lovely place to stay for a family get together, well set up and furnished, has a spa although we didn't use it for our stay. Everything I could think of is provided - would happily stay again.

We absolutely loved the stay! Such a beautiful homely environment which we would highly recommend. High standard furnishings and on arrival lovely and warm. Hot tub looking out onto the grounds was an added bonus which we very much enjoyed! Thank you
