    “Fabulous place, great position close to the lake, amazing views.”

    Unfortunately dishwasher was u/s with no warning (new one waiting in the garage) and lift wasn't working (would have helped one of our party and was advertised as being there). Ridiculous compulsory linen charge, which is quite excessive - we could have bought new linen from Briscoes for that. Also a compulsory cleaning charge was over the top, we felt very strange not leaving it immaculate after our stay, which we usually do. Both these items seem to be new Bachcare policy.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

With an enticing deck area and a large backyard with garden table, there is ample space to chill.  Accommodating up to ten people with two queen beds, two double beds & a bunk bed, modern amenities include Wi-Fi, TV with Sky, heat pump. The kitchen is of a high standard, or else take cooking outside to the BBQ to be enjoyed alfresco under the veranda or umbrellas. Your accommodation offers full laundry facilities so everyone can be fresh on holiday! Superbly situated in the quiet suburb of Three Mile Bay and only 150m from the boat ramp. About the location

Just an 8 minute drive around the lake from Taupo Central, Wharewaka is a great base for a relaxing or adventure-packed holiday. It's out of the hustle and bustle of the centre, but still close to many of the bucket-list activities Taupo has to offer such as going out on the lake, visiting Huka Falls or even making the trek along the Tongariro Crossing. All of our Wharewaka holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
