Just imagine yourself parking up on the deck on a warm sunny day, enjoying a BBQ meal alfresco, with the picturesque lake and mountain landscapes as your backdrop. A fully equipped kitchen, plus an additional kitchen downstairs are both on hand to self-cater your stay, and with Turangi just a 15-minute drive away, you’ll have no problem topping up on supplies. Of course, if you only need a few things, or don’t fancy cooking, you can just pop two minutes down the road to the Omori Store and Snappy’s Takeaways! Wander just six minutes to the lakefront for a morning dip, stroll the Pukawa Bay Track, or there is ample space to park your boat at Kuharua Lakehouse, then drive three minutes to the Omori Boat Ramp for a day zipping around on the lake. If you are feeling like a slice of adventure, make your way to Turangi to try out river rafting, conquer the Tongariro Crossing or visit the Tongariro National Trout Centre – a great spot for kids! About the location

Located on the Southern end of Lake Taupo, Omori is a more secluded area around the lake. There's plenty of native bush and bushwalks to do here, as well as water-based activities on the lake such as kayaking, swimming, boating and water skiing. Because the area stretches over a hill, most of the holiday homes have a great view of the lake.
